A 220 square foot space, my room comes filled with instruments and books to aid any inspiration. Start the day with yoga and views of the huge mountain mural, then linger at the bay-window alcove with a coffee before you hit the streets to explore.
I've been living in this massive room since just this summer, and it's been so kind to me. Stocked with literature, a cookbook collection, a guitar, and two keyboards, my room is one of those rare spaces in New York where it's large enough to breathe.
Two desks to work at, plus two ridiculously comfy chairs to park yourself at and read all day if you want - one right next to the bay windows overlooking Hart Street, the other a prized possession decked out in a fabric that really never should've gone out of style.
Custom mountain mural painted on the largest wall for soothing inspiration, the fifteen foot ceilings, and gigantic floor space all combine to create your ideal Bushwick experience.
Full access to bedroom (aside from some storage areas), bathroom, living room, and kitchen. There is a backyard, but access is only through one room, which might be occupied during your stay.
Interaction with guests
I will likely not be around during your stay, but it is a four-bedroom apartment, and there will certainly be other folk around- lovely people, all of them.
Other things to note
You should know that we have a dog - a beautiful husky mix named Lyra. She's a real cutie, but if you're allergic to dogs or don't get along with them very well, our spot might not be best for you.
