CHARMING and Tranquil 107 year old North Oakland Home
Colorful home filled with light, art and handcrafted furniture, located on a peaceful street in North Oakland, a coins throw from Berkeley.
Your south facing bedroom has a glass door which opens to the deck and garden. Fresh cotton linens, a comfortable single bed, shared bath, deck and garden are yours to enjoy.
The house is located in a residential neighborhood conveniently close ( 6 min walk) to the Ashby Bart Station, and several bus stops. Cafes, restaurants, Whole Foods Market, Berkeley Bowl Market and one of the best weekly farmer's markets are all within a short walk away.
This household includes two wonderful indoor/ outdoor cats. Although the house is kept very clean and cats are easily kept out of your room, if you have allergies or harbor an aversion to felines this probably isn't the right situation for you.
You're welcome to enjoy the garden and deck. The kitchen is available for cooking between 8-10am and 5-7pm. The living room and TV are available when I'm not working in my office space which is adjacent.
The painting studio, a separate and private space in the garden is off limits to guests.

I'm an artist and educator with a familly of wonderful friends here in the Bay Area and around the world. I'm passionate about the environment, flora and fauna, the natural world and wild places ....and to be at (in) the ocean.
Love sharing conversation over good food and drink. When the season permits, I enjoy filling the house with vases of fragrant blossoms.
I've traveled a lot, speak a little Spanish, like to laugh and discuss ideas. Generally, I'm busy. I've a couple of different teaching gigs so I'm in and out during the day.
On weekends and in the summer I'm in my studio, hiking, working in the garden, at the beach or traveling.
The San Francisco Bay Area is a rich and wonderful place to live or visit and I enjoy sharing my knowledge of favorite places for you to see and explore.
