The Villa was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and already think of coming back again :) I have never seen such a great garden. Communication was nice and uncomplicated. The beach, which is in 200m distance is okay also. I absolutely recommend it!

Lovely spacious four bedroomed house, 250m or so from a small beach. Truly great welcome from Isidoro. A true gentleman. Even though we did not share a language, we managed to communicate. Isidoro gave us some great advice on what to see and where to go, and he called by a couple of times in case we needed anything. The house had plenty of room; large dining/living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, one bathroom and two shower rooms. Really nice shaded garden, we ate outside all the time. Small barbecue great for fish! The house is well located; one hour from Palermo Airport; 40 minutes from Trapani Airport. Quiet residential area; travellers will need a car, but parking available at the house and all of western Sicily can be reached in an hour or so; from Selinunte in the south, Marsala; Trapani; Erice and Zingaro national park to the north. Wish we had had more time! Western Sicily seemed to have mostly Italian holidaymakers; it was great to feel immersed in the country rather than being surrounded by other Northern Europeans from our own and other countries. The people were very welcoming in the shops and restaurants even though we had almost no Italian. Beautiful beaches nearby, particularly sandy St. Vito lo Capo to the north, and tiny pebble beaches in Zingaro; these great for snorkelling. Also special was a day trip to Isolas Egadi; we only had three or four hours there; we should have allowed more time both for Isolas Egadi and Sicily. We will be back!

Nice house in a beautiful garden with terrasse, etc. Possibility to eat in the garden. Host does not speak much English (communicating by text was OK though), but he took a lot of time and went out of his way to still show us everything and give us tips about the surroundings. A small beach is within 200m walking distance and the location is good for visiting Erice and Trapani (at least by car). On check-in we got a big fruit platter which was great since we arrived late in the evening and did not have time to buy anything for breakfast.

Isidoro doesn´t speak very well so it is a little difficult to communicate face to face. But he is very helpful and trying to do his best. There is just a little problem with steep stairs to the first floor, which is not really comfortable with small kids. But the garden and terrace is amazing, we have really enjoyed that. There is not really much to do in the village but is really close to beautiful Erice and San Vito Lo Capo. There is just a tiny beach near by, rest of the shore is stony and access to the sea is pretty difficult. Renting a car is a necessity.

Clean place. Good decorative order. Lovely garden. Private gated parking. Situated in a residential area away from major towns and cities but driving distance to explore trapani and segsta. Host does require 1 euro per head per night for some kind of town hall tourist tax which he asked for on arrival and I think this should be included in his rate for guest convenience. However Would stay again as it was such a nice place to stay. Good communication through airbnb messaging. Thanks isidoro.
