A perfect place to stay for 3 families and a couple. The kids loved the games room. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Great location near a beautiful beach. We had a campfire which was lovely. Lots of birds to see but they are very noisy - bring earplugs if you don't like getting up early.

Great place and Carolyn was exceptional. Highly recommend this especially for a family or friend event. Plenty of space and excellent communal facilities as well as private amenities.

Gindabara is the perfect place to "get away from it all", especially if you have a large group. The beds are comfy, the showers are great, and the main kitchen is fully equipped which made cooking away from home easy! The main hall has a lovely charm to it, with a spacious deck area which was perfect for meal times. The games room was ideal for the kids and kept them well entertained (not to mention a great place to keep them dry when it rained, and cool when it was hot outside!). Carolyn is so lovely and accommodating. We would not hesitate in recommending Gindabara and would love to visit again!

I've booked the full site to celebrate my birthday with my friends. Gindabara was the perfect place for it. People could either have the comfort of a cabin or camp on site. The common spaces are really well furnished and equipped, nothing's missing. Games room is full of options to play inside or outside...and you can enjoy the beach nearby and the quietness of Coochiemudlo Island. Could'nt have found a better place for my stay. Owners are really flexible and responsive, easy to deal with, thanks again!

I organised a craft and fitness retreat for a group of friends, and Gindabara was the perfect location for hosting it. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy, the common facilities were awesome and the proximity to the ocean was fantastic. Everyone loved it!

Hi Carolyn, What can I say. The place is beautiful , quiet and serene place to (URL HIDDEN) family enjoyed the trip. The facilities in the Ecolodge were good and it's location perfect(next to the beach). Thanks for being a great host and helping out with the items we were short of. Will surely visit again if/when we holiday in Brisbane again. Regards Rajnesh

I have had a home on Coochiemudlo Island for over 40 years. The island with its natural beauty is truly one of the best kept secrets in SE Queensland. Near by Redland Bay was the home of my grandparents who fished in the bay with hand made nets and sold their daily catch to local residents. Whilst I have also spent many years living and working abroad I have always called Coochie home. Near by Brisbane was my birth place. Gardening is one of my passions and I have an extensive Australian Native garden with an Amphitheatre and billabong on the Main Beach side of Coochiemudlo Island near the Jetty. We make available for others to use. I look forward to welcoming you to Coochiemudlo Island.
