Thank you Adam.Let me clarify to guests though who may get confused from what you write that you visited at a time of OFF SEASON and that during the official season from 1st April to end of October there is absolutely no construction in the area as it is not allowed. Second the path has a private gate that stops tourists from coming into the path, this gate was removed until renovations finish in the area. So again in season this is not an issue as well. As far as renovations in the off season, we never know from before what neighbors will do in the winter when it is the only time allowed to renovate and as we cut our rates in half (even more than half for you) we hope guests understand that off season is not comparable to high season.I agree that I must post on the winter months that some renovations may take place in the neighborhood (even though it unpredictable), but there are other factors as well that make the off season what it is:in the winter we may get rain, it may be windy, it may be colder, more shops and restaurants are closed, you can not swim or sunbathe, cant go sailing and the list goes on. I hope people from around the world understand what off season means. On the other hand people who don't care about swimming or warm weather and just want to enjoy the Island in a less crowed period, this is perfect time and we offer much lower rates to our guests. The view is breathtaking 12 months a year! By the way way in this neighborhood everything that was there to be developed has happened this winter so we expect quiet winters from now on so welcome winter guests!
