The space

Overwhelming uninhibited sea views, private beach, fresh air contact with nature, beautiful scenery made us buy this exquisite plot of land 10 years ago. The villa was built in 2005. It was built to a great extent of stone both [externally and internally] which distinguished it among all other surrounding properties.

GROUND FLOOR
The main entrance is situated in the back of the house facing a beautiful garden overlooking a community road. From this point one can enter the villa and find himself in a cozy hall leading through a stone arch to the dining room. On the right hand side a corridor leads to the ground floor double bedroom whose balcony door overlooks the sea. There also exists a window overlooking a semi-covered stone arch space with a built bench. The adjacent to the bedroom bathroom is stylishly painted and its shower semicircle area has green mosaic tiles! On the right hand side of the hall there exists a balcony door that leads to a stone arch furnished semi-covered area for breakfast and relaxation.

The dining room has a monastery handmade table with benches underneath an antique chandelier It is separated from the kitchen by a semi-stone arch. The kitchen is fully equipped to cover all needs of our guests. A balcony door overlooks the sea. The dining room is separated from the lounge by a stone arch. The lounge has one stylish fireplace and is equipped with a big white sofa and comfortable armchairs. The lounge has two balcony doors that lead to the veranda providing uninhibited sea view. All ceilings in the ground floor [and on the first floor] are covered by timber wood and logs and all floors are covered with cotto tiles. On top of the balcony doors there exist semicircle handmade light windows made of sculpted Tinos marble.

This villa was exactly as pictured on Airbnb. The setting was breathtaking and the house was beautiful, with plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and 5 kids. We rented a van in Gavrion and took several day trips to some of the island's beaches and towns. We also had many very delicious meals around the island. The setting, while only 10-15 minutes from the port feels very remote, and you really do need a car that can handle rocky roads and steep climbs. The island didn't seem very touristy, so it's definitely for the traveler that is up for an adventure. A few things to be aware of... there is no air-conditioning (only fans) and it is quite warm-a bit too warm for sleeping. Also, you cannot drink the tap water, so you must keep buying bottles, and you cannot flush toilet paper. (This must be very normal for Greece, but we were not used to it.). Finally, garbage must be loaded into your car and driven to a nearby dumpster. Before we arrived, our host was very helpful to answer preliminary questions. After we arrived, we didn't have much contact with the host, but the housing manager was always quick to respond to our questions with helpful advice. Overall, this wasn't a holiday for travelers looking for a luxurious experience in the Greek islands, but for the ones looking for an unforgettable and rewarding vacation off the beaten track, it was right on.

Charming house, in a secluded environment. Plenty of space, with very comfortable living-room and bedrooms. Large terrace overlooking the sea, which enables you to eat outside. Stunning view on the rock coast and deep blue of Mediterranee. Swimming-pool and barbecue are just perfects. Direct access to the sea and a "private" beach 50 m below the swimming-pool ! Clear and hot water. A car is absolutely necessary.

Villa Maria-Nafeli is an amazing place. Located in the quite and peaceful hills of Andros, the house has everything you need to make yourself feel like home. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious dinning room several bedrooms and bathrooms. It also has terrace where you can relax watching the sunset or have a breakfast. It also has a bbq area near the swimming pool. Ioannis and his wife was very helpful upon our arrival even picked us up at the port and left us notes with suggestions where to eat, what to see on the island and etc. The most charming thing about this place is that it almost has a private beach-bay, with crystal clear water surrounded by rocky stones, where you can never stop exploring things by foot or deep in the water. For that you just have to go down the steps directly from the house. Not far away from the villa there are also pristine beaches and tavern where you can never have enough with the greece food. Well, this place is highly recommended! Viva Greece!
