This large, quiet bedroom is centrally located in a large Edwardian house with a full kitchen, living room, and backyard. Close to the cozy Annex and Little Italy neighbourhoods, and less than 5 minutes from the subway and two major streetcar lines.

The space

This is a very spacious, quiet room on the third floor of a house in downtown Toronto. It is furnished with a queen sized bed, desk, and dresser, and has a large closet.

Guest access

There are two other bedrooms in the apartment, occupied by myself and a fellow airbnb-er or two. You are more than welcome to make yourself at home in the shared living room and take full advantage of the kitchen - there's more than enough space in the apartment to hang out together or find privacy when you need it. A small deck off the kitchen and a shared backyard are great for lounging or barbequing in the summer. The bathroom is shared by the three occupants of the apartment.

Linens, towels, and high speed WiFi access are included, and coin-op laundry is on-site.

Interaction with guests

I was born and raised in the city, and love it, and have lived in this neighbourhood for many years, so I'm always thrilled to share interesting spots in the area and across the city. Please ask me anything you want to know about your stay in Toronto!

(+)great location (30 min fast walk from eaton center) (+) great room (–) dirty bathroom. Not the german cleanliness requirements. The room was fine. Only the bathroom. I am not sure about the kitchen. Never used it cause of the bathroom. (+) the host was more than nice. Invited me to hang out with him and his friends. To bad that I had to work

That room is perfect, clean and tidy. Also the location is great, close to UofT and TTC bus station. Recommend for anyone who looking for a comfortable and quite space in downtown Toronto.

Mark's place is very well located, everything is close by, and if you have to go far Bathurst subway station is conveniently close (less tan 10 min walk). The place is just like the picture, and even better; the bed is amazing, the living room is very cozy and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. To top it all, Mark is one of the nicest guys I have ever met, he answered all my questions, cared for me to have a great experience and gave me great advice to get to know the city. If you stay here yo might get to meet his friends, they are very nice too!

Mark's place is in a great spot, fab neighbourhood with downtown 30 mins walk away. The back verandah was lovely spot to cool off on a hot summers day, with squirrels running all over the tree. Everyone passing through was super friendly, and easy going. Great home away from home, and introduction to Toronto.

I was delighted to stay at Mark's place. The house is beautiful, very private, clean, has very good vibes and overall is a cosy spot. Mark's friend helped me with everything I needed and made my stay really special.

The site is amazing, and there are a plenty of restaurants, night clubs, banks and pubs. The room is spacious and bright, besides that it's near to downtown.
