The space

The duplex villa has a pleasant living room area with fireplace, 71’ LCD TV, DVD player and hi-fi stereo with USB connection; very comfortable for winter relaxation in a peaceful environment; the sofas can be arranged to accommodate two extra people; a dining room that sits 6 people; a balcony facing the Golf Course with a barbeque and two tables where you can enjoy a peaceful morning breakfast.
A kitchen supplied with a stove and oven, microwave oven, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fridge, with a balcony facing the dining room area.
It also has a social bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
The ground floor suite sleeps two in separate beds, with a complete bathroom serviced with full linen and hairdryer; this suite has a private outdoor access to the pleasant exterior garden lawn.
The first floor has a beautiful suite with two separate beds and a balcony facing the golf course; a complete bathroom serviced with linen and hairdryer. Both bedrooms have air conditioning.

The Cascais City Hall charges 1 € per night of stay for each person from 13 years old with a maximum of 7 € per person. This tax has to be paid in cash on the check-in.

I decided to rent this place because I knew the neighborhood very well. The house corresponds to the advertisement on Airbnb but in all honesty I'm very disappointed with the house and the host. The house is old and there is a strong smell of damp.

Unfortunatelly the experience was not pleasant for us as well. The Guest should had read the advertisement before booking the property. The rules are very clear and they have to be respected. If the Guest doesn't agree with the rules he always has the choice not to book that property instead of trying to break or change the rules. The house is exactly as advertised. In fact the Guest says "The house corresponds to the advertisement on Airbnb" and then mentioned that he is disappointed with the house because it's old? (URL HIDDEN) comments!

Rita is a fantastic host! She made us feel at home with the bread and wine and her great smile. The house is located almost on the golfcourse, great to watch the golfers coming by. If you like horses, there are a hundred of them within 5 minute walk. That made me very happy! We arrived on the wettest day of the year and were cold, but with the electric heaters and the fire place we felt warm enough soon.

Offer (photos) and location correspond. Booking was easy and the confirmation receipt was getting very fast. We had a late check-in (after midnight). That was no problem. The local agent, Mr. Edouardo Vasconcelos, is very costumer friendly and helpful. The location is lovely, in a good condition, comfortable and the infrastructure is complete. It is a nice place to stay for golfers and visitors which like a calm and well-kept ambiance. Very recommendable! Doris & Marcel from Switzerland

We just came back from a great vacation where we stayed 10 days and the house in Quinta da Marinha. I just have to say thank you to Ana, who was truly wonderful all the way. Always very accommodating, she really prepared the house well for us. The house is in a great place and very peaceful,with a lot of green all around. You have Villa Bicuda 5 minutes from the house where you can find a great restaurant, a market, a salon etc. To downtown Cascais is only a short drive. By the way, the Cascais area is amazing and definitely worth a visit. To go around, it is advised to hire a car. There are a lot of places to visit around and beautiful beaches. This house might be a bit cold in the winter but perfect for the summer. Even when temperatures were around 35 outside, inside was always fresh. I do recommend to this house to small families.

Très belle maison en bon état, et très bien équipée. Quartier très calme même si un peu éloigné du centre. José était très disponible. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
