Couldn't have imagined a nicer place to propose to my now fiance! Tim and Janelle were wonderful hosts, the property itself was spectacular and the views are to die for. Couldn't have had a better weekend if we tried :) Highly recommend

The place was just as you see it in the pictures posted, if not better!! It's a beautiful home. The host was very prompt in responding to any of our questions that we had.

We spent a lovely weekend with our family celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The house is true to it's photos and the surroundings are very peaceful. The pool was a tad chilly but three of us still managed to swim some laps. A great place to just chill out and catch up. Thank you for all of the little extras such as wine, sparkling, chocolates and flowers.

A quiet corner of paradise. The house is lovely and comfortable, the location is quiet and serene. Wake up early enough to see the sunrise (and then fall back into the comfortable beds with their crisp linen bedding). Stargazing from the front lawn is highly recommended! Easy drive to lovely Bangalow, and we also combined breakfast and whale watching at Lennox heads one day. Otherwise, we just enjoyed relaxing around the property. The kids burned plenty of energy kicking a ball, exploring and just enjoying the open space. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The photos don't do this place justice. Its an amazing private oasis and perfect for kids also. This will be our annual retreat. Tim and Janelle made us feel like family. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

My husband and I recently returned to Australia after living and working in the Cook Islands for 7 years and found that New Brighton replicated the easy-going style of our island life beautifully! We live in our beach house, but love our farm house equally! We built our Goremans Road home 30 years ago and purpose-renovated it for a holiday home in 2015. The Byron Bay hinterlands are stunningly beautiful - relaxation is immediate! Our daughter was married at Goremans Road in 2015 and the farm holds very precious memories for all of us as it is where our children grew up. Our family has lived at Eureka for five generations! We love to travel and are avid home-exchangers. Our style of travelling is probably more backpacker than 5 star, but we are not staunchly one or the other. I am an exercise physiologist and recently completed post-grad study. Tim has worked as a professional soccer coach for many years, but is currently managing our own manufacturing company. We have two grown children, who are also experienced travellers. We often travel as a family, with our kid's partners, and love the memories we make together.
