The location of the home is perfect, walking distance to great restaurants and shops on magazine street. The neighborhood feels safe. Mimsy was gracious and easy to talk to. The bed was very comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. We enjoyed our stay. We have young children and we encountered insecticide shaped like altoids scattered around which is important to note if you also have little ones.

First time airbnb users and I have to say my stay at Mimsie place was a great experience. The place was clean and had all the needed essential, the location was prime walking distance from magazine. Mimsie herself was a great host any question she answers you call or text response time was awesome. I loved every bit of my stay. For a first users of airbnb Mimsie set the bar high.

I was in town for a fitness convention and found Mimsie's place. She is lovely! Greeted me with a smile, provided a tour of the house, and was a kind and gracious hostess for the week I was there. Her home is spacious yet cozy; and has an incredibly comfy bed (!). It is in a great location- I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go (or a Lyft car was a quick 3-5 mins away). She even had Smart Waters chilling in the fridge- awesome touch (since it was so hot)! Mimsie is great with communication- we stayed in touch about arrival and departure; she gave me great recommendations of where to go- just a few blocks up to Market Street! I enjoyed my stay in NOLA.

We had a good time in NOLA. Mimsie is a very good host. We didn't meet her but she has always been in touch. We've been 100% free to go in and out the apartment at any time. The yard was a little small with two cats hanging there all the time (I'm allergic) but it was ok since they never got inside the apartment. The apartment is essential but we weren't looking for particular amenities. Maybe too many bugs but that's it.

Response from Mimsie:
Yes there are many outdoor cats hanging around New Orleans. The city won't do anything because they want them to keep away rodents. I have called the city a few times. The best I can do is give them some food and water as many New Orleanians do with their feline visitors. I do not welcome them in because this is an Airbnb and people may be allergic. As for bugs yes they are everywhere I do note in guidelines to keep door securely shut for that reason! Otherwise I am glad you enjoyed your stay!
