Other things to note

We are in the country and in the woods with large parcels of state lands, so there are many animals we adore and love, but one must be mindful of this, as there are Beers, deers, coyote, fox, possum, ground hogs, beaver, box turtle, raccoon, skunk, chipmunks, squirrel, moles, snakes and lots more especially beautiful birds. We try to preserve and respect our natural habitat. We do not spray toxic poisons into our ground soil where we plant and have an organic small currant farm and wild berries.

Rosalie was a great communicator and gracious host. I would recommend to those looking to escape the city and unwind in a remote, wooded, and quiet place.

Lovely setting and beautifully built post and beam construction home, built by the owners, Rosalie and Lyndell, which was a marvel to behold and stay in. Excellent communication between host and responsive to our needs as guests. Extremely hospitable and welcoming, giving us tips on where to eat and places to swim and hike. Off the beaten path, but easy to find. Wifi worked great and hosts provided coffee and muffins for breakfast. Would recommend highly.

My experience here was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were prompt in their communication, generous with information about how to take advantage of the surrounding area, and very interesting to talk to. The house itself is beautiful and impeccably clean, with giant windows looking out over lush gardens. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, as well as an expansive scenic reservoir, and simply walking along the roads of the neighborhood is an experience because the adjoining forests are that beautiful.
