After enjoying nearby heart of Fremantle, beaches or the river, come home to this sanctuary surrounded by lush gardens and tall trees and birdsong. The high ceilings and space of this modern 1950s reno will be a relief for couples and families alike.
And if you need more room or your own apartment, please see my other listing for the adjoining apartment.
The loft double bed is available for couples and older kids.
At the moment, if you prefer a lower bed (no ladder) there is also a very comfy double sofa bed in this room.
#Please note: The loft bed has a guard all around but the stairs are steep. This bed may not be suitable for young children. Dear parents, please feel free to speak to us if you need more information.
Supplements for more than 1 guest are $25 per adult per night and $15 per child under 10 per night.
You have your own private entry through the side gate. There is a large undercover outdoor dining area and a terraced back yard with room for the kids to run around, whilst parents rest on the seat under the roses. Some fresh salad leaves and herbs may be in season. There are ample clotheslines under cover and a Hill's Hoist (a traditional Aussie backyard item) for those beach towels, swimsuits and other laundry.
A large lounge with high ceilings is furnished with two couches and an 8 seater dining table. This house maintains a comfortable ambient temperature year round but a reverse cycle air conditioner is also available. Toys, children's books and games are available for the family.
An antique door leads to the pine clad bathroom with deep bath and rainfall shower. Epsom salts, bubble bath, essential oil blend, candle burner, wash mitt, shampoo and conditioner are available for your use, together with plush towels. (We personally select safety conscious formulations for toiletries and cleaning products)
A glass sliding door conceals the laundry and toilet. A Bosch clothes washer, iron and board are available for your use on request.
There are presently no cooking / kitchen facilities but tea making and a selection of herbal teas are offered. We'll be happy to provide a cool box, wine glasses, crockery and cutlery - just ask.
