A lovely sweet place to stay and the staff are delightful! We loved the open fire with plenty of wood provided. Perfectly clean and tidy with lovely views of the surrounding property from all windows. Recommended!

The cottage is beautiful, has tasteful decor and clean. Emelia was also responsive to my question re check in as well as how to better heat up the property. However, heating was an issue for us. Despite having the heater (30degrees recommended by our host) as well as the fire pla…

Response from Emelia:
Hi Xueni, As I suggested when we spoke, you need to shut the hallway door that leads out to the boot room. Once this is done then the whole house heats nicely even on the coldest nights. The boot room is an entrance room which used to be a verandah, it is not insulated and by leaving this door open you have very little chance of heating anything, like leaving your front door open. There is also a blow heater that was located under the sink as we discussed. If you had of given me another call I would have come up to rectify the problem. I'm sorry you had a battle with it all, most guests find windies a cosy place all year round. Emelia
