About this listing

Room1 YVA is 1 room in my old Berlin apartment, housed in a house dating back to 1897. It is an extraordinary accommodation as it is a kind of "private museum" to the former Hotel Bogota. Located on the ground floor, around the corner, there are very nice cafes and restaurants.

The space

Very nice near the Kurfürstendamm (7min walk) at the western end of the Stuttgarter Platz, it is a very nice residential area, 750m away is the Lietzenseepark.

I am the host, Joachim Rissmann, I have turned my private apartment into a kind of private museum at Hotel Bogota, if the possibility exists, I would gladly provide rooms for your visit.

Guest access

Lounge, kitchen, bathroom

Interaction with guests

Always by What'sApp, phone or when I am on site

Other things to note

Ground floor! A step!
Sometimes my children are visiting.

This place was (as expected and declared, but with nice paintings and photos on the walls to create a pleasant atmosphere) located on one of the old buildings in a nice neighborhood and a 5-minute walk away from a subway station. One shared bathroom was very clean and contained all necessities (careful thought was given to details and human needs). You will find tons of cafes and little restaurants practically once you get outside. We had a good stay, but my wife, who is of squeamish and timid type, said that she would have appreciated more privacy. In conclusion, this place was worth its price.

Joachim is a great landlord and gave us useful advices to our trip in Berlin. We lived in the apartment which is built in 1887 , quite old with history. Joachim was managing a hotel , and now he is managing this Airbnb as the old way. Great experience over all. Lots of good restaurants, Lidi is just on the face , metro is nearby ! All are convenient. Only a little pity , didn't have time with Joachim for last nights drink ! See u around again !
