Beautiful, secluded mountain getaway with THE most amazing view... short drive to San Ignacio makes it a perfect place if you have a car

Lovely house on the edge of San Ignacio. 5 to 10 minute drive into town but while at the house you feel you are completely in the jungle. The view from the deck is GREAT. Suggestion - when in town park in the lot next to the visitor center - only 50 cents US per hour and takes all the worry out of where to park - easy to walk to everything from that lot. Also - if renting a vehicle get a jeep - very steep and rough gravel road for the last 2 blocks to get to the house. I had no problems but my wife said she would not have done it - too scary for her. The house is well worth the short drive on the rough road though.
