Great location in Assisi with a car. Close to parking on either end of the old city and an easy drive to Santa Maria Degli Angeli. One bedroom with the two beds is really small. A very nice place.

Danila's place is amazing. A beautiful house really close to town. Danila is just an amzing hostess, we had a complicated travel plan, and she was very accommodating and nice. I definitely recommend her and her house.

We will always remember our visit to precious Assisi and hope to return for a much longer visit. We will definitely stay at Danila's if it is available. We loved our walk through the olive grove up to Assisi. The house was a step back in time but very clean and accommodating according to modern needs. The grocery store is close to the train station so stop there before you go to the house. It is quite large with good prices and friendly people. Danila also gave us the number for a taxi driver who was very nice and prompt. No need to worry about transportation. Every experience in Assisi was delightfully pleasant, including our incredible lunch at Denila's restaurant...5 star to be sure.

Large enough for our family of 7. Serious ant infestation on the first floor of house, all over kitchen and living room. Apartment hadn't been cleaned, which Danila acknowledged and apologized for. She also refunded 25 euros for this issue, without our asking for it. Wifi issue initially but Danila was very helpful in fixing this. Kitchen had very little in terms of cups and plates, etc. Not good for cooking meals. No AC and only one working fan made it a hot stay. Working fans in each bedroom would be a real improvement. A bit of a walk but a pleasant walk through olive groves. She kindly made reservations both ways for a taxi for us from the train station, so we did not have to walk with all of our luggage. Danila's hospitality and kindness went a long way to making up for any shortcomings during our stay. We really appreciated her efforts.

Great house but about a 15-20 minute walk to town.

We loved the location as a home base for our stay in Umbria. Nice to wake up each day and make italian coffee and walk out into the olive orchards beneath Assisi. Some minor details to be aware of: The we had to plug the phones in on the first floor to charge because they kept tripping the breakers. If you are low key and easygoing this place is charming and is situated perfectly for a family - my daughter spent an afternoon catching lizards - to explore the Umbrian countryside. We visited Spello, Terni, Collepino, Lake Piedeluco, and Florence as well well as exploring Assisi.
