Lovely well equipped, secure quiet and private house with 4 large bedrooms, balcony and garden. The perfect safe location: 7km bus or ferry to Sydney CBD, walk to the stunning Balmoral beach, shops, cafes, pool, library, oval and art gallery.
The house has 3 separate areas: the 3 big downstairs bedrooms and hall are federation style, while the kitchen and bathroom have a modern style. The living area has wooden floors opening to a small but very well equipped garden that is quiet, secure and private. Upstairs is new and opens to a wonderful balcony with seats where you can watch stunning sunsets and a million stars.
You'll have access to the whole house (except a small upstairs room) including off street parking.
There are lots of toys, board games, beach toys, trampoline, BBQ, sandpit and table tennis you are welcome to use. The lounge has a good sound system, large TV and wifi, the kitchen well equipped with Bosch appliances, and you are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer.
Interaction with guests
We will be overseas during your stay but look forward to meeting and helping you settle in and with any problems by email, phone, facetime or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) if you wished. There are also many local friends who can help if in need.
Other things to note
We'll leave a full guide of how things work around the house and make many suggestions on local attractions and facilities with distances and costs as bets we can.
Just a few house rules...
Strictly no smooking in the house please.
No pets such as cats or dogs in the house please (since allergic)
Supervise children upstairs please (no felt pens!).
Please turn air conditioner off when back doors open and be considerate with its use: electricity is very expensive in Sydney.
Keep door to hi-fi amplifier and DVD open when in use. On hot days put fan on behind central speaker to cool hi-fi amplifier down.
80kg max on the trampoline please.
An Englishman who travelled and settled in Australia 25 years ago. I have lived with my wife, daughter (11) and son (9) in the house you are renting for 12 years. The lifestyle is hard to beat but I still miss England. My life motos are: "You don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing" and "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent". .
