The cabin is located across the street from a river. It's beautiful, quiet and serene here in Marion. A great place to recharge your batteries. We hope you enjoy your time here.
Come to historic Marion. Former home of whaling captains, current home of Tabor Academy. Beautiful sailing boats galore. No need to hassle with weekend traffic to cross the Cape Cod Canal. Enjoy a stroll along a country road with views of Buzzards Bay. Plenty of antique shopping, golfing, tennis and water sports. Half hour from historic Plymouth.
Wonderful, cozy one bedroom cottage across the road from the Weweantic River on a quiet, spacious property. Screened in porch, combination living room/bedroom with ceiling fans, pine paneled bathroom with shower, new kitchen with ceiling fan, large master bedroom with sliding doors to the yard and spacious closet space.
No public transportation. Plenty of restaurants within a fifteen minute drive.
Please note, the bathroom is quite small.
Interaction with guests
Very little interaction with the owner but we're close by if you need us.
Other things to note
There are large beaches 45 minutes or so away on Cape Cod as well as Horseneck Beach. There are smaller local beaches in Marion and Wareham.
The cabin is in the country so sometimes country things happen - like bugs and bad weather. We clean the cabin thoroughly before and after every stay and we do our best to keep bugs out. We cannot control the weather at all, unfortunately. We will not give refunds for bad weather or if you get a visit from a bug.
We would prefer that people respect our neighbors and not party into the wee hours of the morning.
We do not rent more than 28 consecutive days.
I'm a video producer in New York. I love the arts and meeting interesting people. I'm professional, courteous and fun! I like to go out and have a good time (responsibly, of course) but I also like chilling in warm, comforting environments (i.e. not hotels).
