Amolyn was an awesome hostess! Her home is amazing, and the amount of space she gives her guests is like an apartment! Very beautiful rooms, love the antiques. Would definitely recommend Amount as an excellent choice!

5/2016: This host is a nice lady with a nice family that welcomed me with refreshments & snacks and a lovely space (the most beautiful basement unit that I have ever seen which caused me to remember what a friend told me, "They (Real Estate owners) can make a basement unit nice if they want to" -- Clearly, here, the host & her family have wanted to make their spaces pleasant and comfortable). I also was greeted with significant help to be sure I became familiar at the first opportunity with the surrounding neighborhood and the closest New Jersey Transit train into Manhattan. The train station is within 15 minutes' walk, and within 30 minutes the train is in Manhattan's midtown, at Penn Station, a great hub to catch a NYC Transit train if necessary but also a great stop by Manhattan Mall and major shops. Just please check the New Jersey Transit train schedule as the NJ Transit trains are not as frequent as the NYC Transit trains, especially outside of rush hours. Having a life-long interest in Metaphysical Studies, for me it was also a treat to sense a mischievous but not malicious ghost that seems to favor the basement within this lovely house of over 130 years' age. (The ghost also seems more inclined to make its presence known to females.) I conducted significant research prior to reserving this space and saw that the host made the point to price the space very reasonably: In talking with her, I learned that it is more important to her that she find mutually respectful guests than to charge highest dollar. I highly recommend this option to travellers who appreciate that they will be staying in a unit within a family's home -- If they are not seeking a place to be rambunctious, etc., but a good place to work on their computer, read, study, and relax then this is a good place. Highly recommended. - Sahar Chinyere, PhotoJournalist.

Greetings everyone - welcome to my home! This home was built 135 years ago by the same architect who built Thomas Edison's home. Despite my homes old age, it is well maintained and will definitely make any guest feel at home.

I have been hosting guests from all over the world for over 8 years. As a person who enjoys travelling and understands the importance of a clean living area, I make sure all of my guests feel safe and confident that their stay will be one to remember.

I am located close to main attractions such as the Weehawken New York City Skyline, Rutgers University, NJIT, the University of Medicine and Denistry, NJPAC, Newark Museum and New York City.

My home is located 25 minutes outside of New York City --- three stops and you're in the city! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the train station. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk from home.

Parking is available (off street), airport pick up and drop off is available. You will have a private entrance to your APARTMENT.

PLEASE NOTE, THE APARTMENT is a NEWLY RENOVATED basement apartment -- there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area and a kitchenette where there is a microwave, an electric kettle and a toaster. YOU WILL HAVE A PRIVATE ENTRANCE TO ENTER AS YOU PLEASE.

Looking forward to meeting you!
