Nice and cosy sailing boat with full equipment, kitchen, toilet, etc, in the heart of Bergen, impossible more central. Enjoy the great experience of living in a sailboat in front of the famous Bryggen!

The space

Is a boat!! That means that is moving a little with the waves, what is very nice, feel like a baby, is a great experience to wake up in front of Bryggen with all the people around you. You will love it!!

Is space to sleep for 6 people, even 7, but depending of your size, could be more or less confort. I think that the perfect number is 4 people.

Guest access

No hay ducha en el barco, la ducha esta en un edificio que hay a menos de 100 metros. Esta habilitado para eso.

Tiene cocina, aseo, y una sala de estar inigualable, a los fiordos noruegos de un lado y al otro el Bryggen.

Interaction with guests

I will be around the most of the time, but not available 24 hours, I mean I am working all the time in summer time, but working 5 min from the boat.

There is a chance that we could make a small trip with the boat, but that is not for sure. The most of the time I am working and I don´t have time, but you could be lucky and could happen.

The cost of that trip is not include in the price, is around 500 kr to 1000kr depend of the time and people, if is just a small trip, I could do it for free.

If you want to sail with me, by the wind, it is possible, but is depend if I have a day off or not. I love to do that, but sometimes, is not possible.

Also, IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE BOAT FROM YOUR OWN you have to prove me that you have experience sailing.

It is a nice place to stay in Bergen, it is clean and close to everything, the beds are comfortable. But the follwing problems make our stay unconfortable: the humidity creates a special musty smell in the bedrooms, the blankets get wet at our feet when waking up. The second one that the owner worked the day we arrived. No one welcomed us. He should have asked a friend of him to meet us to guide to the boat. Especially there are lots of boats, it is not very easy for us to find the boat afer long flights from France to Bergen. We were very tired, specially our little girl. The rest is good.

Antonio is a very nice guy, when we have trouble, he will come and help us fix it and give us many useful advice. The boat is well located and equipped with all kinds of cook stuff. It is a pretty unique experience, highly recommended !

Hey, its a BOAT!!! The location was awesome, central, the experience was good and Antonio was quite responsive to some teething problems that were encountered which he rectified. Bergen is a beautiful city seething with history....go and experience it, you will love it.

Antonio seems to be a nice guy and eager to make sure his guests are happy but there were a couple of things that we found a bit frustrating during our stay. Firstly the good things: Amazing location and view of Bryggen, though remember you are central and the boat has no sound insulation! There is a pub/club right across from the boat. This didn't bother us too much but it may bother others. Also you will have tourists by the boat taking pictures most of the time as it's such a good view! Good value given the location. Cool to stay on a boat. Not so good: The weather wasn't great (heavy rain) when we went and this affected our trip. Of course the weather wasn't Antonio's fault but the double bedroom's skylight leaked during the night so we had to sleep in the main cabin the second night. We knew there wouldn't be a shower on board but we were told that we could use the showers in the harbour centre which were right next to the boat. Antonio met us when we arrived and though he was helpful, he told us the previous guest had accidentally taken the access card. He sent us to go and get a new one but the tourist centre just gave us a number to call for it. So instead we had to use Antonio's gym card and use the showers there. It's about a 10-15 min walk from the boat. If we knew this from the outset then we probably would have been fine with it but we felt like we had been misled. We also had a bit of a wild goose chase trying to access the harbour showers via the toilets as instructed by Antonio, only to find the doors locked too. Antonio showed up at the boat the morning we were due to leave at 9.30 and having told us he would be flexible about the check-out time, he asked us to leave at 11 as the next guests were coming. We had to rush to the gym to shower and back to the boat to pack up our stuff in time. We were offered some cash which was on the boat to make up for the issues we had, but he sent this offer 10 mins after our check-out so we missed out. The boat is okay - it was fairly clean and tidy. OK for a couple or a couple and child. It would be a squash for more than that. It felt damp but any boat would in the weather we had. It as a bit like camping in the rain (but with a heater). We tried to think of it as an adventure but some may not be as happy with that. Things may well have worked out better in warmer, drier weather, the boat woudn't have leaked and perhaps we wouldn't have been so eager to have a shower to warm up! Overall...

If you wanna try something different, stay on a boat. it will satisfy you. Antonio may be busy to help, but he would send you a hot and kind friend to help :P The location of the boat is the best.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. It was definitely an authentic boat experience. The boat was clean and cozy and Antonio was really easy to get in touch with. The only issues we had were not having gas for the stove on our first day and running out of water after 24 hours - the boat didn't seem super prepared for our stay. Also, because the boat is docked in the harbor you can't flush anything (including "solid waste") down the toilet, but there is a public restroom at the dock that costs 10 NOK and takes card. However, whenever I messaged Antonio about an issue he was always helpful and came to solve the problem as soon as he could. If you want to be in the center of the city center, don't mind being around tourists, don't mind a little noise, want to see nice sunsets, and really like boats, then this is a good place for you.
