The space

My name is Patty Kelleher and I have lived here over `15 years, and I find this community and neighborhood which I live very appealing with the beauty and culture it has to offer.

I have two spaces to offer, listed separately. This listing is about the spacious private rooms on the second floor with Queen Sized bed. Hardwood floors and three large windows keep the room cozy with natural light. Also furnished with a desk. There is a shared bathroom (shared with me) on the second floor that has a full bath and shower.

The house is shared with myself and one guest room occupants currently living on the 3rd floor.

Modern eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and new appliances are available for your use. There is a small off-the-kitchen eating porch, perfect for a morning coffee. Also a spacious dining room and comfortable living room with a television and wood-burning fireplace to relax in. Off the living room is a sitting area for reading and relaxing. There is a patio in the back with hammock, grill for barbecuing and chairs.

We are located in Cleveland heights which is 6 minutes drive from many of Cleveland’s cultural landmarks. Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall- home of the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra- Cleveland Botanical Gardens, Cleveland Natural History Museum, the Auto and Aviation Museum, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and many more.

If music is your passion, here is flooded with sound from all genre. We have some of the best international restaurants from Turkish to Japanese and everything in between.
The guest house is walking distance to Cedar Lee area which supports 10 to 15 fine restaurant’s, a movie theater which shows many international and unique films. We are also walkable to Coventry village, an original village likened to the 60’s, street dotted with shops, restaurants and outdoor music and films in summer. And for those who have a love for nature, our guest house is a walk to Shaker Lake, which has a 20 minute walk in the woods along water and a beautiful nature center.

A little about me I am a registered nurse primarily working in home care. I have a most amazing house cat, Zak, who is friendly and mellow, and if not wanted around will kindly give all the space needed. I have a house requests not to smoke in the house.

Great location for all public transportation, right outside the door! Easy to get to Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, and the Universities in downtown Cleveland.

Patty is soooooo nice!! She is a very friendly, patiently, generous and lovely lady! She made snacks and breakfast for us! The house is amazing. There are beautiful plants and furnitures full of the house. Our private room is homey and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and scenic. I and my friend really wanna stay longer. Patty is a great host, very kind and well disposed. The location is good, there's a bus stop in front of the house that goes every 30 minutes (every 1 hour after 6pm and on weekends), making it cheaper to go downtown. The house is larger than it looks, but still very comfortable and quiet. I've stayed for a month and it was a great choice!

Cozy, comfortable, and close to lots of food choices. We tried the train for a lot of running around but then just stuck to uber. It wasn't far from downtown where we were going for a concert. Patty was patient with us when we missed some train stops and arrived later than planned. She was very accommodating with toletries, towels, etc.

Patty is the best airbnb host ever. Literally my favorite. I came to Cleveland to look for an apartment and shared my frustration about not finding a good place with her. By the time I wake up the next morning, Patty had driven through Cleveland heights looking for places up for rent, found some options, and called them to see if they fit what I was looking for. I ended up renting one of those places. It would have been impossible for me find that place without the help of a dedicated local. Thank you Patty!

I truly enjoyed my time staying in Patty's home. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Her home is beautiful and quite larger that the pictures on the profile made it look. The location is fantastic and pretty central. All in all it was a great stay and I had a wonderful time chatting and getting to know Patty.

I am Patty Kelleher living in Cleveland heights also known as the city of trees. I enjoy biking, hiking, baking, attending films, theater and local music concerts. I also like to spend time in our amazing Cleveland museum of art and listen to the orchestra which is would renown. I live in walking distance from Lee road which is an entertainment district. This area is dotted with many international restaurants and a movie theater which shows films not seen anywhere else in the city. Another area is Coventry Village which is a quaint area, a though-back from the 60's with small shops and restaurants as well, with its own special charm. All museums and severance hall home of the Cleveland Orchestra are moments away.
