Perfect stop for us as we drove around Ring Road. This lovely B&B was right outside the service town of Blondous. The house itself was so picturesque -- one of the classic red-roofed houses set against this magnificent Icelandic mountain and valley backdrop. Really beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice to have a seating area. Ásgerður was kind enough to let us use her kitchen for dinner, even as we arrive quite late, and had a nice breakfast set up. The only thing is that because this is a horse farm, there were be flies buzzing about -- but that comes with the territory!

We had a comfortable stay at the farm house. Asgerdur is kind attentive and somewhat reserved. She surprised us with a generous breakfast that we did not expect. The host lives on premises so arriving at a reasonable time and being respectful about the noise levels is important.

This is a farm about 5min away from Bloundus. It's an amazing place where you have direct contact with the Icelandic Horses. The host prepared a very nice breakfast for us and they let us use their kitchen to make our own dinner. The rooms are on the top floor of the house so if you have difficulties walking up/down stairs just keep this in mind. We were very lucky as a horse was born the night we stay and we went to meet the new little horse. That was amazing. The family was very friendly and welcoming. I'll go back to Asgerdu's place anytime.
