My home is located in Woodstock, a heritage area and one of the trendiest, most vibrant and multicultural communities in Cape Town. The house is walking distance from popular Old Biscuit Mill, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, bars, a supermarket and more. It is also a 10min drive to the city centre. This spacious and neat room is one of three - I use one when I am in town. My space is great for solo travellers, couples, students and friends or anybody that is sociable, easy going and tidy!

The space

My home is a traditional Woodstock cottage and boasts 3 large bedrooms with lockable doors and plenty of storage space. The shared spaces include the living room, kitchen, courtyard and bathroom - all of which is serviced by a cleaner twice a week.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, utensils and glasses, as well as, a microwave, fridge and stove/oven.

The bathroom is standard, but has a large shower and is also where the blowdryer is stored.

Off-street parking is located at the front of the house between the main gate and front door.

Guest access

Guests can access the room that they booked as well as the general areas of the house - living room, kitchen, courtyard and bathroom.

There is also off-street parking for 2 cars in the front of the house.

Interaction with guests

My friend and trusty manager Thandie will be available to answer any questions you might have.

Lerato's place was fantastic. It was clean, welcoming, and safe. Ayanda and Cyril (the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)) were extremely welcoming and sorted out everything I needed immediately. Will definitely be back in the future.

If your looking for a trendy, clean and central place, this is it. The place is above and beyond the pictures you will see. Secure and clean. And the Wi-Fi doesn't act up. I will be coming back to this spot without a doubt. Thank you Lerato!!!

The place is just alright. The cost was low, but if you're a tourist, you'd just end up spending more money on taxi rides. You don't want to walk around there, especially when it's nearing dark. Even the taxi drivers all seemed shocked I was staying in that area. The gate truly is an issue, does not open easily - leaves you and your things kind of exposed while struggling to open/close it. Inside is alright. Some guys cornered me against a gate a few doors down, but I got away before anything happened. Be on guard. Several doors really need work (bathroom and my bedroom). The lighting setup is kind of strange, but tolerable. As my first day in Cape Town and slowed by traffic, I arrived just within the time I said I would, but the manager had left for another appointment, and the way it was done made me feel really unwelcome from the start (she later called to apologize - and was also stuck in traffic). That initial experience alone put a bad vibe out. The description of a young, fun neighborhood is not what I saw, except the Saturday market. It's not awful, but it's not a great place if you're traveling briefly. Still, I thank them for letting me stay there, as it was at my own risk.

Our stay was pretty nice. The room was cute and the house was welcoming and clean. The only problem we had was with the gate and the main door: we always struggled to open them or close them properly. Please fix them. The rest was cool and the Wi-fi worked perfectly! Thanks

The house is nice and everything is as described online. However the zone is not really safe at night and a taxi to move around is required.

I am a great lover of Airbnb when I travel, and so I'm really looking forward to being a host and meeting people from everywhere to introduce them to my favourite place in the world, South Africa (aka Mzansi)!
I love food, music, wine, interesting spaces and good company.
