Amazing eco-friendly home in a jungle reserve located in Chemuyil, a small t Riviera Maya town. Just 50 minutes from Playa del Carmen and 30 from Tulum. There are 3 small villas to accommodate guests. Two guests in each villa, you can book them separately or with the main house. but always from the same party of guests. additional cost USD 180 each, if booked with the house. USD 200 each if book separately. Each cabin has a double bed, a kitchenette with electric range, mini fridge, AC, fan..

The space

This is a self-sustainable building , designed under strict lines of Environmental Protection , which integrates the fascinating jungle environment thanks to its renewable energy planning , energy efficiency , water conservation and indigenous materials .

The design , original architect Francisco Rosas, is inspired by the intensely linked to the Mayan worldview Mayan symbol Hunab Ku.

The Maya had knowledge of the powerful energy source located in the center of the Milky Way , spiral formation containing more than 200 million thousand -Star with an estimated diameter of 100 thousand light years ( of our Sun boasts one about 27,700 million light years from its core ) . There is the mysterious source of power, known by the Maya as Hemal Ku or Hunab Kub the "Primal Deity".

Guest access

The design of the Hunab Ku (the house) is the heart of the main building, a beautiful one-storey house with three bedrooms (the largest with dressing room), each with its own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a living room with dining area, wide and very bright.

In its large garden, filled with local flora and where the concert of native birds is heard, there is a pool of 50 square meters, surrounded by a terrace of seashells with population figures of the Yucatan Ticul. It has BBQ, reclining chairs and a fountain / jacuzzi at the foot of the pool. The cement coating in the pool walls and floor of the bathroom is combined with resins of some trees in the region and organic soil, forming a finish that, with time and humidity changes color.

Adjacent to the house are three cabins to accommodate guests comfortably, because each one has kitchen facilities, plus a house hosting service that gives service personnel. A total of 340 square meters of construction.

The parking area is quite wide, and you can park up to six vehicles.
The land is 10 thousand square meters, forming a rectangle 50 meters wide and 200 background, which adjoins land full of vegetation, with a fairly wide dirt road by which you can easily navigate by car. This rudimentary entry gives the feeling of entering completely into the labyrinthine and thick jungle trails.

Interaction with guests

There is cleaning service for all the common areas and laundry or food preparation for an additional charge.
Each cabin has an extra cost of USD 180 per day if they are booked with the main house. if booked separately each one has an extra cost of USD 200.00 per day.
Each one can host a couple.

Other things to note

The main house has 3 rooms where 6 six guests can stay. There are also 3 casitas inside the property that can accommodate 6 other guests, so 12 in total.
Each cabin has an extra cost for the rental, USD 180 if booked with the main house, and USD 200 per night if booked separately.

The Eco Jungle house is a breathtaking home nestled nicely in a lush jungle just outside of Tulum. Our stay was completely relaxing and luxurious thanks to the beautiful home, pool and wonderful staff that cares for the property. The home and casitas are aesthetically pleasing, clean and exceeded our expectations. Each member of our group had plenty of space to chill in their rooms, hang in the shared living space or lay out out by the pool. The house in has a fire pit for everyone to enjoy at night. The location of the house was outside the crowds of Tulum but also close enough to make trips to the restaurants and beaches easy. It is about a 20 minute drive to Tulum and about 5 from the Dos Ojos Cenote! A must see! The hosts truly made our stay special by preparing coffee every morning and keeping the place tidy. They also cooked meals and set up the outdoor area for one of the evenings we spent home. Gabriella, our main contact was always available to provide support and answer questions. She went out of her way to assist with preparing a fresh fish dinner and assisted us with other accommodations throughout our visit. She's a gem! We all couldn't have been happier with our stay and would completely visit again. Cheers!

Beautiful home, very well maintained. Had a great stay for 8 days with my family. Good wifi, well located for easy access to the attractions from Playa del Carmen to Tulum. It's extremely quiet, except the sounds of the jungle. There is a 15min drive from the highway along what is a straight but bumpy dirt road, I'd recommend a sturdy car rental.

A truly magical place out in nature. If you wanna get away from it all and experience the jungle this is the one! Super stylish in design and ethical in essence. My advice have Angie make you breakfast and dinner! So rad. :-)

My friends and I stayed at the Eco House for a week, including New Year's Eve. The house was above and beyond what we expected-- a beautiful and secluded getaway, nestled in the jungle, away from the touristic noises of the surrounding cities. It was wonderful going to sleep and waking up with the sounds of birds and monkeys, breathing fresh air and enjoying the sunny pool. The rooms had very comfortable beds, very well-equipped bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The people who care for the house are incredibly helpful and accommodating, without being overbearing. Truly great at what they do-- it felt as if we had rented a whole bed and breakfast to ourselves. They are also amazing cooks!! I would highly recommend staying here. It is off the beaten path, but at the same time, is close enough to the sights and activities of Tulum. We hope to visit this bit of paradise again.

Paradise!!! A true oasis! Our family enjoyed Christmas in this most beautiful and unique home. The nine of us could not have been happier. I had almost given up on traveling to Tulum for the holidays when this listing came up and I was so lucky to reserve it. From the moment Janna the host contacted me regarding the home I felt secure and confident that we made a great choice in our reservation. Besides being in a breathtaking venue the home is simply gorgeous. My family said it was like staying at our own private resort. It is located off a dirt road in the jungle, the photos give a great view , but can not capture the vegetation, the sounds and the tranquility that make it so very special. The town of Chemuyil has a few restaurants. Hillario was sent to meet us off the highway and to guide us to the house. Gabriela the manager was also there and she had loads of information of things to do. It was so nice to come from the airport to appetizers and juices that were set up for us in the main house. The main house is circular and picture windows look out to the jungle vegetation. The architecture is so different, a combination of wood and stone throughout. It was clean and nicely appointed. Daily the chaise lounges and umbrellas around the pool were set up by the staff who cleaned the home and cared for us. The glass walled shower in the master bedroom gave a stunning view of the jungle. The kitchen was complete. Wifi worked well. The pool was gorgeous and has a nice area to sit and lounge in for relaxing. I have stayed in airbnbs all over the world and I have to say this by far was the nicest home I have experienced!

Mexican woman, completely in love with my Country, specially with the Mayan area, their beaches, turquoise sea with changing colors, like the mood of us, women, jungle , amazing gastronomy, culture and people...
love to meet new people, share with them the splendid world of our culture, magic towns, delicious food, wonderful people, amazing and magic natural world that surrounds us.
Waking up with the singing of the birds, a stroll on the beach and see the sunrise or set in the sea, star gazing at night or a dinner with just the moon as your light source.... the wonderful food of the mayan cousine, those rich flavors that magically transform the simplest of ingredients in a dish for a king....
