What can I say that others have not. My husband and I chose this location based on the reviews. I have to say that Donna and Jim were the best. Mark and I truly appreciated your hospitality and so did Freya. We loved the area and woke up missing the view. We had some great conversation on the way home about all the may things we enjoyed about the place. I know Freya was sad to leave and she misses her friend. Thanks for making our 1st Airbnb experience such a fantastic one. Jim, I may have to convince Mark to let me get my own espresso, and whip cream maker so I can have Jim-chinos at home!!

Great stay in a wonderful location. It's a short distance to the Bitterroot for fishing and ten minutes to Darby and the Bandit Brewery. What could be a better combination!

Jim and Donna's place was lovely for an overnight getaway. We live in Montana but hadn't had much of a chance to explore the Bitterroot Valley, so we went over to do some hiking and check out the towns. Their place was wonderful to come and be warm and comfortable after a day of hiking. Jim was very friendly and showed us around on check-in. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, and with all the amenities we needed. Bed was very comfortable too! We would love to come back some time for a longer stay and we highly recommend it to others.

Donna's place is incredible!!! The property is beautiful and backed up right at the base of the mountains....Views for days!! They were sooo accommodating from the second we stepped on the property! They gave us a tour and were amazing people to chat with! They have beautiful horses and other animals around the property. They were even kind enough to help my friend saddle and ride a horse on our stay there. Outside they also had a fire pit, grill, hot tub, and a beer pier for us to use as we please! The place was equipped with everything we needed, including fresh bacon and eggs for breakfast in the morning. Oh and can't forget the delicious organic coffee and agave and honey and everything else you can think of they supplied for the morning. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend staying here! Donna and Jim are excellent....not just as hosts but just great people to hang with! I would definitely enjoy another stay in the future!!

This cottage/guest house is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting or needing to stay in SW Montana. Donna and Jim are great. The home is fully functional as we cooked every meal and LOVED the fresh eggs they provided from their chickens. I will be rebooking again next year!

Response from Donna:
Thank you Danielle! Jim thoroughly enjoyed your conversation! His kidney stone flared up shortly afterwards as well as a mysterious sudden swollen knee that he couldn't bend and all of it was very painful and he's been down for the count until this morning...I guest it's just old age ;-) Please visit us again! :-)

Jim and I (Donna) have lived on our ranch in Darby, MT, for 11 years with our son Dean, now 16, and a multitude of critters; 6 horses, 4 (fenced) dogs, 2 cats, and 32 chickens. We enjoy horseback riding, skiing and riding bikes. Donna is a self-employed mortgage broker and Jim is a rancher, producer, arranger, and musician...we both work out of our home and are usually available.
