The house is quite big, in a remote area (15 min from station or supermarket by car, 1h30 from central Tokyo without traffic). OK for 3 families in or case (6 adults, 4 kids). The wooden house itself is not so bad, but furnitures/equipments seem to have been here for a long time and the whole place feels kind of old; at that price (500+eur a night) it would need some renovation/refurbishment in my opinion. We have had to ask for knives, brought by the (rather nice) guy working at Nakadaki Art Village. Equipments in the kitchen were not working well (microwave would show some weird errors from time to time, the fridge froze some food we had), probably because it is too old. Last but the least, it was a bit annoying to have to pay extra for pretty much anything: wood for the stove, charcoal for the barbecue (we ended buying t at the supermarket), and even plastic bags to sort the waste (200y per bag, so ridiculous!). So all in all it is expensive for what it is, and we would not come back at that price, even though we spent a nice sunny week-end amongst friends.
