We had to evacuate Napa area because of the fires and Norman was SO QUICK to respond to our request and immediately went to the house to make sure it was ready for us. Communication was great, and the house worked out perfectly for us.

Close to beach access, Close to resturaunts and shops, and great bay views. I was at a wedding at the Mavericks convention center, and this was very easy to go back and forth.

Hey guys, you should note this is the town of Granada. Not Half Moon Bay. The views from the house excepting the one wall depicted in photo are weedy field with some industrial stuff and elsewhere kinda ugly truck traveled street. You don't hear the ocean, you hear traffic mostly…

Response from Norman:
For accuracy's sake; The house is indeed a portion of the city of half moon bay called Princeton-by-the-sea. El Granada is on the other side of Cabrillo hwy. the water side is officially Half Moon Bay. The house is close to the water because it is in the Pillar Point harbor which is a "light industrial" area, the reason for the daytime trucks and boat storage lots. In areas designated residential the beach is public property and the proximity to the water is much greater (although you can get views). It is true that driving north or south will get you to beautiful places but a) you wont be within short walking distance of a dozen restaurants and bars and b) you'll mostly be looking down steep cliffs.

We enjoyed our stay in Half Moon Bay. Although only the upstairs is really renovated, the accommodations are spacious and comfortable. The location is better than I initially thought, with lots of hikes and beach walks nearby. Go to Sam's chowder House for great sea food. Norman …

The house was in a really beautiful peaceful spot. The house was perfectly equipped for our needs. We had a very enjoyable stay. It is perfect for visiting San Francisco and other places along the coast.
