The Buttery is a well equipped accommodation adjacent t(URL HIDDEN)set in a scenic location ideal for those wanting to get away from things for a while. You are a short walk (20mins) to the St Keyne Railway Station where you can board the train to Looe or Liskeard. It is great that your dog can come on holiday with you - there is plenty of space to exercise them and lots of wildlife to spot whilst you do. The Hosts, Nigel and Richard, are very welcoming and informative on your arrival and are at hand throughout if needed.

We had a very relaxing week staying at The Buttery at Trussel Barn. Nigel and Richard were perfect hosts, on hand to ask about the area, but also we felt like we had complete privacy. We loved the cream tea provided on our arrival, and the coffee/chat with them. We were made to feel completely at home by the hosts and Bertie and Molly (lovely labs!). It's a great location to be based to see Cornwall, we drove around every day, but were aware that there are bus routes and trains to most places of interest. We cooked in the kitchen on a few occasions, everything we needed was provided. The bed was huge and very comfy, and the views from the garden (and our window) were breathtaking! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay in beautiful setting.

Nigel and Richard are very welcoming and friendly hosts and the cottage was beautiful. Stunning views across the fields and in a peaceful location yet only a short drive from both Looe and Liskeard town centre. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked everything you could possibly need on your stay! A cost home away from home. I would recommend a stay at Buttery Cottage in a heartbeat.

We spent a lovely 5 days at The Buttery. Richard and Nigel, Mollie and Bertie are the perfect hosts. We were warmly welcomed to their beautiful home set in picturesque surroundings & were allowed to enjoy the gardens and paddock as if it were our own. The cream tea & Richard's homemade jam were a particular highlight, along with Nigel's tried and tested recommendations for walks and restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend the Buttery for anyone seeking a stress free escape from the madding crowd.

The Buttery was perfect, after a couple of stressful days it was just what we needed to get away and relax. Had a lovely trip out on the Looe valley train line and some great walks from the house. Nigel was the perfect host. We would love to return.
