This is a one bedroom with a bed and closet, in my home on 1-acre, set out on a 7-minute taxi ride from the town of Vilcabamba, Ecuador. Share the bath and the kitchen, the outdoor horno and gardens, hammocks, washer. Tea, coffee and seasonal fruits are available in the kitchen, Make yourself at home!
This is a one-bedroom in my 2-bedroom house. It has 2 wide, spacious, screened windows to see the mountains. You share the new bath, next to your room, the kitchen and gardens, horno and clothes washer. Hot water is dependent on the solar power - there may be hot water or not! Tiko the dog, and Cuko the cat live here as well! 3 windows are still to be put in the house, but your room is quite warm. The ambient temperature in the morning when you arise is 67 degrees.
You can access the bath, the kitchen, the walking trails, the garden, and the town, which is a 5-6 minute taxi drive away. We have wi-fi. You can use the wood-fired horno outside, the propane stove on the porch, or/and the fire pit at night, with wood available. Hot water is dependent on the solar power - there may be hot water or not!
Interaction with guests
I live here and am available for advice on where to get and eat food, ride horses, walk on trails and visit the river. I can call taxis, if needed.
Other things to note
There is/are guests in the cottage and the cacoons - the hanging tents, and the gazebo at times. This is the rainy season!
I am a quiet person, doing yoga, tai chi and meditation, reading and walking the dog. I go to bed early, so there is no late-night partying, smoking in the house. If you want to bring your pet, he has to get along with Tiko, who is avery good-natured and sweet german shepherd.
