Light & spacious yet cosy double room with use of kitchen&lounge.Perfectly located to be a short walk to the seafront, train station, Queens Park & the famous North Laine. The neighbourhood is famous for it's variety of pubs!Free on-street parking
A cute and cosy flat with a spacious lounge, large bathroom and compact but functional kitchen. The added bonus is a Terrace overlooking the colourful Hanover streets. The flat is packed with character and charm.
We encourage our guests to treat the place as a home from home!
A basic breakfast is included (yoghurt, cereal, bread, tea, coffee) although you will need to serve yourself as we are out at work in the week. If you are staying at the weekend there may be something a bit more substantial served at 'brunchtime'!
The Kitchen may be used for basic cooking (pizza in the oven, making pasta etc) and storing things in the fridge etc.
We are happy for guests to use the lounge until 23.00 in the evening but just ask for quiet after that ; )
Interaction with guests
We have used AirBnB as guests extensively and have found the best hosts are those ready and willing to give advice, and provide a helping hand when necessary and willing to chat but yet are respectful of your space; that's what we aim to do! We often share a meal and a chat with guests if appropriate - but if you'd rather be left alone that's fine too!
Definitely happy to help out with as much advice and recommendations on the local area as is needed...we have intimate knowledge of the local pubs and cafes!
Other things to note
Travelling is FUN but everyone misses home comforts! If you want your favourite Pizza or beer waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive let us know and we'll try our best to accommodate!
This is our home and (unfortunately!) we have to work. Therefore we require quiet after 23.00.
No extra guests/visitors unless pre-agreed.
Smoking is allowed only outside.
This profile covers myself and my girlfriend. - Val.
I'm English, she is Italian.
We are an easy going relaxed couple who have been in Brighton for a few years. We recently moved back after a 1 year hiatus in Guildford. We have worked abroad (Thailand and Bahamas) and previously owned a coffee shop in Brighton. Val has now made her love of travel into a career working in the Travel industry, whilst I commute to London, working for a company that deals with Hotel data
We have used AirBnB fairly extensively now as guests and hosts and love this style of travel! We normally travel on a budget and stay a bit longer in each place (as opposed to 'seeing' every major tourist attraction) to get a feel of the town/city/village. We like to do the same for our guests - trying to make them feel at home and offering a 'local' perspective and knowledge.
We love travel, and the summer and being outside!
Interests include sport (me) yoga (her) scuba diving, cooking, coffee(!) and beaches (both!)
We love a good chat, a good album and a good beer/bottle of wine.
Fav books include: half of a yellow sun, shadow of the wind, norwegian wood, revolutionary road, heartbreaking work of staggering genius, the book thief, my name is asher lev
some good movies (in our opinion): the departed, big lebowski, royal tenenbaums, pans labrynth, the green mile, finding nemo, reservoir dogs, the grand budapest hotel,
we always travel with..... books, sun screen (always hot places!), mask and snorkel, coffee 'Moka'.
