OVER 1000 square feet Serenity Suite includes sleeping for 4. 1 King bed and 2 twin sofa pull outs. Full bathroom, living room, bedroom. & kitchen that is fully furnished with an out door table & chairs,A BBQ on Patio(ask) along with the Serenity of our Huge Fountain. Sit outside and watch the wildlife go by while you are relaxing with your morning coffee or evening drink. You have a fantastic view. This suite is in the lower level of our home and has an entrance of its own.
This suite contains everything you would need for your vacation,or business trip, the only thing missing is YOU and food. We are respectful of our guests privacy, but we love to interact with them. What ever your pleasure, we are here to make sure you have a great time NO ANIMALS and NO CHILDREN Please! Some of the areas are not safe for children. We do have a service dog and cannot have any other animals in the home.
The complete suite is yours for your rental period including the private serenity area outside on the patio. There is a Calming giant fountain just outside your door wall with a table and chairs for you to sit in the morning with coffee or with an evening drink. You will be surrounded by greenery and barley visible to the outside world.
Interaction with guests
We love to interact with our guests and even enjoy a beer or wine with them. We can also appreciate those who are needing to get away from it all and we are good with that too!
Other things to note
We do have a service animal that assists my husband with his diabetes. We will not have the dog in your area at all. We ask that you ask permission to interact with the animal.
We have information on all of the eateries in areas near us. If you are interested visiting the Metro Park, there is a fee to enter the park and a fee to use the water park. You can picnic hike run roller blade fish golf rent a paddle boat or other boats visit the animals at the park zoo and even have lunch at the park restaurant.
No smoking, drugs or animals. We know you will love it here. Please quiet time is 11PM. . We want you to enjoy our lovely wonderful home in the country! We also may have other guests while you are here.

I am a retired engineer with a love of cooking. My wife was a teacher and then for fun a flight attendant, she really traveled all over the us and other places.She is an avid gardener and we have several gardens to prove this. We really love meeting people from different parts of the world. We have been to France, Austria, Germany, Japan, Mexico ,the virgin islands and the Bahamas, We plan on retiring to Florida or Tennessee. We'll see what is decided.In the meantime we would like to share our wonderful home with others. We have 5 acres with a lot of wildlife. Horses living on both sides of us. We have a service airedale who acts like a person, she is so very smart it just amazes us. We both like to read and during long drives we take turns on long trips. We just purchased an RV last year and have already traveled to 6 states so far. We love entertaining and have had several pig roasts on our property and entertained over 100 people at a time.
We have enough room for 4 Adults in 1,000 square feet,1 king bed and 2 couches that open for sleeping .We also have a baby crib mattress available for your infant. A separate rental bedroom is available to you when you have 6 people in your party and it is an extra charge of $50.00
We have several outdoor games including badminton, horse shoes, ladder toss and others. We have enough clear average that you can have a ball game. Come and stay at our home here in the country, perhaps you will see deer who visit frequently, or maybe a turkey will walk by.
We love coffee and croissants. We will serve you a hot breakfast on your 1st morning and supply you with your favorites for the other mornings. What do you like for breakfast?
George likes to watch programs with real people digging for gold or living in Alaska bush. We had a real gold digger stay with us earlier this year, he was very interesting. We like classical music and country too. We listen to 40's,50"s music and old radio programs like the shadow. During long trips we sometimes lister to talking books, they seem to make the trip seem shorter. Come on, visit us here in Michigan, you will not be sorry. We even share a glass of wine or a beer with our guests.
When staying at an airbnb or a hotel the first thing I look for is a glass of wine to kick back and relax before bed. What is your favorite thing to do when settling in your room for the evening?
We have 5 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 2 and 1/2 great grandchildren. We don't think that is the final count, our grandkids are just getting started in life adventures. Yes, its going to be like staying at Grandma's or Nana's house, we will treat you like family!
