I like reading,my favourite authors are Patricia Cornwell, Tess Gerritsen to name but a few. we bought this holiday home to have somewhere to go when we were off at weekends together Porthmadog is such a lovely peaceful place to stay. the beach is very clean, with just miles and miles of sand making a walk to cricceth when the tide out a must. There is also the walk into Borth y Guest which is a lovely little village just around the coast to get here you can walk along the coastal path following the sea all the way there finding little coves along the way my favourite is Samson's Cove where the beach is covered in shells. Then you have the mountains if you fancy taking a hike. Porthmadog is a little town with plenty of shops to look around, and little cafés to sit and take in the surrounding, with a market on Fridays. In Porthmadog there is also the steam train which stops at a variety of places There are other little villages to go on the tourist trail such as Bedd Gellet, Criceth, and also Caernarfon. Bangor is about a 20 minute drive away with all the big named shops on the high street. A lovely university town well worth a visit.
