I stayed with Denzel for about 2 weeks. He was a great host, and made sure I had everything that I needed. One day I was sick and Denzel brought a strawberry shake, and medicine to my door. The room/bathroom was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet, and there were no loud noises or disturbances. His dog Cherry is very adorable and very friendly. If you are visiting LA on a budget, I would really recommend his place. It is in Watts, so you will have to be very street smart. It's about a $5 Uber ride to the train, or a 15 minute walk. Down the street from the train station is a CVS, Burger King, Popeyes, Subway, Chinese restaurant and a grocery store. There is also a bus stop very close to Denzel's house that goes downtown. The only con to my visit was that I had to exit/enter through a gate in the middle of an alley. Aside from that, I had no issues and would recommend Denzel's place to anyone.

I'd recommend Denzel's spot to all adults who are looking for a cool place to stay. Not for kids and couples are pushing it but if you need a place to crash this is it! Host is nice. Dog is cute. Bed is comfy.

I enjoyed my stay at Denzel's apartment! I was here for a month. The room and apartment is basic, but VERY convenient for the price. The bed was very comfortable and the room had great sunlight. His girlfriend was also very friendly and perky. She has a great spirit. I shared great conversations with both of them. Their dog is also friendly, and I think we began to bond a bit lol. I tend to stay to myself a lot, and they did not once disturb me. The apartment was generally quiet, and the walls were thick enough to not hear much movement from their neighboring rooms. They occasionally have a close friend of theirs stop by, there may be some loud laughter, but it's once in a while, not frequent. On days that I had a rental car, they allowed me to park in their gated parking lot in the back, and on days that I did not have a rental, I usually took a Lyft/Uber to the nearest train station which was less than a $4 buck ride....you can also walk to the train within 15 minutes, (which neighbors a cvs and grocery store) and get to downtown LA in 20min. I would've stayed longer but someone beat me to it before I could extend it! Lol. Keep in mind this is Watts, you really have to be alert, low key, and blend in...be very street smart, especially at night. I've lived in Newark and Baltimore, so this is nothing to me...

Denzel is very hospitable but I didn't like that I didn't have my own key and had to wait to be let back in.

Response from Denzel:
I am sorry about the key issue! Although it's not mandatory for the host to give guest keys, If you plan on staying again in the future you will be given a set of keys!

Densely and his girlfriend were extremely friendly and approachable. Densely even went above and beyond to make me a couple sandwiches and offer me a beer. Parking was easy to find and it's not too far off the highway. Great for the price. Thanks Denzel!

Denzel Remington Burks (also known as "Denny Digital") is a graphic/web
designer. He lives in Los Angeles where his work is based. He dropped
out of high school not knowing where the wind would take him but knowing
he had a purpose. Denzel's passion always came from his love of art and
computers. He views the world in a sense that everything is “moving
poetry”. At the age of 18 Denzel knew he had to do something that would
also keep money in his pockets long-term. He begin by focusing his
talents on his passions. He heard from a friend (that was a graphic
designer) about Adobe PhotoShop. He explained to
Denzel that he could create digital masterpieces like the ones found on
flyers and magazines. He then gave Denzel the program and a few
instructional videos and articles. Through the help of those assets,
Denzel slowly got the hang of something he knew he was going to enjoy
doing.

For many years he's interned and worked full time for various respected brands to mature his skill set.

Denzel now works for himself full time. His daily task involve graphic and web design, managing and journalism.
