Charming, renovated 7 room house with large private treed garden right next door to the Montreal Horse Palace. Conveniently located for visits to the Old Port in Old Montreal as well as downtown. A perfect place to stay to experience all the action

The space

This house is elegantly decorated and boasts a large private garden right next to the Horse Palace stables. A unique and historical space in the heart of the city. Renovated in 2016, this house is one of Montreal's historical monuments. The French owners, Mic and Romy, have completely renovated and modernized it while maintaining its authenticity. It has become a truly unique space.

A kind of country house right in the middle of the city, with a sumptuous yard surrounded by high rises in this very trendy neighborhood called GRIFFIN TOWN.
This huge space contains a house with 5 bedrooms that all connect to an independent apartment which boasts 2 big rooms. All the rooms have a stunning view of the beautiful garden.
The downstairs is composed of a big vestibule, a large bathroom, a room with access to the garden and a very spacious suite with access to the garden and its communicating bathroom with the other room with a bed and corner kitchen.
As you enter the home there is a large vestibule the size of a big room where you will be able to store your belongings after a long trip! The vestibule leads to a space with fireplaces that date from 1875 but are completely functional!
To the left, a large room with 2 single beds and a bathroom. To the right of the living room there is a huge suite with a queen size bed and it's own bathroom. The suite communicates with an adjoining room with a corner kitchen. The suite and the bedroom downstairs each have access to the gorgeous garden with its view of te stables and horses from the Horses Palace.
On the first floor you will find a kitchen, a dining room, a lounge, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

A large kitchen with a central island/bar, a big dining room that can seat 12 people and a living room/TV lounge leading to outside gallery with access to the garden. It's an open concept separated by a door.

On the second floor you will find a large suite with 3 beds, a bathroom and a yoga/cardio room. The apartment is independent and contains a big living room, a corner kitchen and a dining room.

This beautiful brick house dates from 1875 and represents all the modern comfort you could want in a home. Decorated with attention to detail from the best boutiques in Montreal.

I will be back to L'Hotel Particulier Griffintown! Perfect for a larger group. Clean, gorgeously decorated, and convenient. Owners are on point and stay in communication as needed.

Our multi-generational group of 9 had a great time. The airbnb was as described - very clean and well maintained. There was a good mix of private and common spaces and it is centrally located.

A good place for larger groups. We really enjoyed the outdoor space in the back of the house. Pretty good location. Was able to walk to old Montreal in about 20min or so. The host kept in touch with us throughout. Would recommend.

This property exceeded the expectations of everyone in our large group that visited Montreal to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. There is a shopping mall with a grocery store, pharmacy, banks, and a liquor store very close to the house. There is also many coffee shops (I found 4 not counting Starbucks) within blocks of the place. The property was centrally located in the city and on most of our excursions we just walked to our destination. Downtown, Chinatown, and Old Montreal were all about a 15-30 minute walk with the added bonus of many unique things to do and see along the way. Uber and taxi rides were very easy to find and the cost was very reasonable even to get to the parts of the town that were farther such as Little Italy and the casino. The metro station is a 10 minute walk and it was very fast and efficient to get to the botanical gardens ( a must see). The living space was very comfortable and everyone in our group (we had 11, but we could have easily had more people stay) had there own space to retreat to if they needed it. The common areas such as the kitchen and living areas were very comfortable and large enough for our group to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and all the appliances looked great and were fully functional. We probably spent the most time in the secluded courtyard which truly is your private courtyard to hang out and hang out with your friends. Everyone in the group stated that their bed was very comfortable and that their showers worked fabulously. There are plenty of bathrooms that let everyone in the group get ready at the same time (never ran out of hot water). The place has window air conditioners so if a compressor turning on and off keeps you up, I suggest just turning the fan option on and enjoying the cool Montreal nighttime air. I slept great for the 5 nights we were there. This place is a unique space to stay if you have a large group. I felt as though we were all visiting a friend's house that gave the group the comfort level to just enjoy their vacation and relax. This place exceeded my expectations, and if I ever return to Montreal I will try to invite enough friends to go with me so we can stay here again. Great place to stay.

One of the best experiences I've had on Airbnb. Romy was an excellent host. I couldn't be happier. She was always quick to respond to any question the group had. The person who greeted us, Gavi, was extremely helpful too. This place is gigantic! It far exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for the 8 people we had staying there. Right next door to an amazing bakery and supermarket and only a mile away from downtown. The gas grill and yard was a nice plus. Highly recommend.
