Located on Medomak Pond, The Boathouse bedroom sits just above the water with lake views in every direction. Waking up is a dream! Clear and cool pond, stellar night skies, and fresh Maine air. Great for a romantic weekend getaway or fun filled family weekend!
The Boathouse has a queen bedroom over the lake with full bath, and a sitting area with a futon sofa that can become a full size bed.
There's a full kitchen stocked with flatware, dishes, and tools for preparing meals and snacks. Enjoy the wrap-around deck with a table and lounge chairs for eating and sun bathing at water’s edge.
A three-season residence, the Boathouse is available June through August.
All wool blankets at the Boathouse are either antiques or are woven with naturally dyed wool from sheep at nearby Meadowcroft Farm.
A stay at the Boathouse includes the makings for a delicious locally-sourced breakfast every morning. Make breakfast early or late – whenever suits you!
Guests will find a refrigerator stocked with fresh milk from our very own cows, fresh-frozen local berries, as well as homemade granola and yogurt. Fresh ground coffee and our garden-grown herbs for teas will also be ready for your morning in the kitchen. Did we forget to mention farm fresh local eggs and homemade butter!?

Other things to note
Boating, fishing, and swimming are among the favorite activities on Washington Pond. Stocked with bass, perch, and trout and worms available at the local Washington General Store, the pond is great for fishing. Take a load off and sunbathe or read a good book by the lake. Play tennis with friends, have an old fashion lobster bake, star gaze, or simply enjoy the sound of the loons.
