Interaction with guests

As a lover of music, art, food, film and culture in general, I can provide a wealth of information to help guests explore Los Angeles' vast cultural landscape (museums, parks, concert halls, theaters, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, etc.).

Other things to note

In terms of beds, there is a queen sized bed set up in the master bedroom and a fold out couch in the living room. I've also provided a queen sized blow-up mattress is you prefer it to the fold out couch.

Please note this is a loft style configuration and not a typical apartment/home where the rooms are separated by doors. There is a hall between the two rooms and I do include a could movable screens for privacy.

In terms of the television situation, it's actually a projector, which when combined with either a laptop (guest provides) or the Apple TV (provided) and Bluetooth speaker (provided) acts as a complete entertainment solution. You'll find booth the projector and Apple TV remotes in the front room along with the fully charged speaker. It's as easy to navigate as any television.

Sean was very responsive via communication. The whole process was seamless and the loft was spacious. Location was three blocks from Stumptown Coffee and only a few minutes driving from Arts District

Amazing pad! Very trendy and close to Everything DTLA. Huge open space, clean and quiet! I was able to do work and chill in a very friendly environment! Coffee shops and bars right down the street and killer taco stand a minute away. Host is accommodating and quick to respond! Our LA friends were very impressed with the place! Will stay again!

What an excellent space- 20 ft high ceilings, tons of beautiful natural light, nice full kitchen, cool projector TV, continuous hot wonderful walk in shower and memory foam bed! Plus this place is right on the bus line 60 - (stops in front of the building every 15 min) a few stops away is 7th street metro station for subways to universal studios, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice beach, downtown, and basically anywhere in the city! We couldn't have been happier in this great loft! Sean was kind and helpful, the space was comfortable and spacious (even for 4 adults and a toddler), and for a $25 metro card for the week, we saved tons of money &a time on the crazy rental car and traffic fiasco by hopping on and off right at the building! Also there are two great coffee/ tea options & pizza and a specialty grocery store all walkable! This seems like it's the best air B&B option in all of LA! Thanks again!

Hello there!

I am a Detroit native, who has spend the majority of his adult life in the fertile lands of the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Portland and Olympia). After a lucrative career in Seattle running a music festival and working as a music supervisor/creative director, I traded in the rain for sunny Los Angeles.

As a musician, deejay, audio engineer, performer, producer, curator and entrepreneur; I've dedicated my life to music in all its forms. Through my work I've had the immeasurable pleasure of attending over a hundred unique music festivals across 12 different countries. During these journeys I have meet hundreds of inspiring people, many of whom remain dear friends and colleagues. Over the years I've come to appreciate music as a universal language that has the distinct power to unite humanity regardless of race, age, sex or geography.

Outside of music and travel, I am an avid outdoorsman, film aficionado, writer, reader, and connoisseur of fine food and culture in general. My favorite type of food is Thai, my favorite film is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and my favorite book is "Plexus" by Henry Miller.

In recent years I've developed a deep appreciation for yoga and mindfulness. I firmly believe that without a healthy mind/body balance it is impossible to achieve inner or out peace in the world. I am optimistic that humans can obtain this balance and that we're evolving towards it each day.

I'm driven by an intrinsic beauty that for me is most apparent when I stop and contemplate that we're all just floating through infinite space on a spec of dust called earth. In the words of my favorite author, Henry Miller "The moment one gives close attention to any thing, even a blade of grass it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself."

Regardless of whether it is an experience, idea, place, book, film, song, or restaurant; I love to share. If anything, I am too passionate about those people, places and things that I hold dear to my heart. I have been told I say "favorite" too often, which I am working on.

For those familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality test, I am an INFJ (introversion, intuition, feeling, judging). "The INFJ personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As Diplomats, they have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is the accompanying Judging (J) trait – INFJs are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.

INFJs tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all."

That just about sums it up. Hopefully our paths cross in the not too distant future.

-Sean
