The two bedroom apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen and had a great view. The villa is a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to Bequia beach hotel which was very convenient. Jacqueline was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions.

The location of the villa is amazing- it has a great view, and is about ten to fifteen minutes walking distance from the bus stop and a nice beach (the walks can be a bit strenuous given then hills and hot temperatures, but not too difficult for anyone in decent physical shape. there are also taxi services which are not too expensive). Frederick, who works there, is very friendly and helpful. Each apartment is separate and you hardly notice that anyone else is around. The AC works great and the bed is comfortable. However be aware that the prices in the store at the villa are a bit confusing- some are in EC and others are in USD, and it is not very clear which products are priced in which currency. We recommend buying any provisions in the town, as they are much cheaper. The apartment was quite clean when we arrived, however there were not very many cleaning supplies available to keep the rooms clean. our towels were not changed and the trash outside was never collected during our stay, which seemed to attract some flies. The price for the room seemed reasonable, however access to a proper kitchen would have made the apartment a much better value. On another note, the taxi driver that was arranged to pick us up from the airport was much more expensive than any driver on the street, and ripped us off when transporting us around st vincent. We recommend not taking the owners suggestions for transport in st vincent and instead finding your own (it will be much cheaper).

My girlfriend and I spent seven nights in the Friendship View Studio Villa. The studio is more like a two room apartment complete with TV, internet and kitchen with a small fridge. The internet was unfortunately a little spotty, but that was the fault of the service provider rather than Friendship View Apartments and the property Manager was extremely proactive in trying to ensure we had full connectivity. The Villas do not have hot water, so the showers are cold, but they actually feel very nice since the islands are so warm. The view of Friendship Bay from the apartments is spectacular and my girlfriend and I loved hanging our travel hammocks on the front porch. The sunsets are amazing here. Other reviews have said that you need a car, but my girlfriend and I walked everywhere with little trouble. We are 30 and in fairly good shape, but anyone who regularly exercises would have no trouble walking from the Villas to anywhere on the island. We walked to Princess Margaret Beach, Lower Bay, Port Elizabeth several times and even Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary on the other end of the island with little trouble. It is hilly, but again, a car is definitely not needed if you enjoy walking. Jacqueline is extremely responsive and accommodated all of our requests including letting us stay a few extra nights on short notice (you will want to as well). Also, since Jacqueline was off island, Frederick, the property manager greeted us at the ferry stop and checked in on us several times a day. He was even kind enough to bring us fruit throughout our stay and gave us a ride back to the ferry stand on our last day. We very much appreciated all his kind conversation and help with the internet and laundry. All in all, we would definitely book here again. Great place at a great value!

Response from Jacqueline:
Thank you Nathan and Stephanie for your review . Really it is a small island to enjoy and if you like walking you will experience all the health benifits and the fun especially if you are a couple. Going to habour is only part of the experience. I will speak to the provider to improve service on the Internet.

We stayed in the Friendship View Villa for a night only. The accommodation is ok, nothing special and quite far away from touristic places on Bequia. There’s a great view on the Friendship Bay from the balcony. Jacquile was helpful with arrangements before arrival. The bus-station is ~20 min walk from the house – so if you don’t have a car it’s not that easy to get around. When we were there hot water was not working – but as the weather was good this was not too bad. The cleanliness of the house was ok – but could be better. If you are looking for a quiet place and have a car with you Friendship View Villa in an okayisch place to stay.

The Friendship View Villa offers very clean and well equipped accommodations. Although the room we booked was unavailable when we arrived we became very comfortable quickly. The view from the villa is quite beautiful and the home is located in a very peaceful spot on the island. The walk to the beach is short but down a very steep hill. The bay can be rough but it is possible to find a calmer spot further along the beach. It is a very long walk to the other side of the island where restaurants and shopping is available. A taxi is easy to get but are expensive. The local bus service does not go near the house which is too bad. Any walking you do requires steep hill hiking. I would highly recommend staying here, so long as you are aware of the walking/expense of getting around. The bay is gorgeous and the villa offers the ideal location for a peaceful rest. If you are looking for a getaway to escape people and maybe even allow artistic ideas to flow, this is for you. Jackie will provide you with the name of a reliable taxi and people to help you out along the way. She is very quick to respond and stays in contact before, during and after your stay. She is an excellent host, even if she isn't on the island. The beds are fantastic, very comfortable!

Jacquie was very helpful in making arrangements for us to stay. We were very delighted with the unit, and especially the spectacular view from our balcony. We were happy that we had a rental car! Many thanks to Aubrey and Juliet for their help.
