This luxury 2nd floor apartment is situated on Lawnmarket on the Royal Mile, in Edinburgh's Old Town. It's close to all the action within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Edinburgh, bars, restaurants and shops!

The space

The apartment is accessed through a typical Edinburgh communal stairway. Off the hall, there is a great open plan living space with seating for 4 people and 2 window seats with views over the Royal Mile to watch the comings and goings of both tourists and locals alike. The lounge has a digital TV, Freeview, DVD player, CD/radio, cassette player and WIFI. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped for a self catering apartment with an electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher.

There are two bedrooms all to the front, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge thus sleeping 5 people in total with a possible 6th person if the sofa bed is shared. There is a family bathroom with bath and an electric shower over.

There is electric panel heating throughout which can be individually controlled. The proeprty has wooden floors and blinds which complement the apartment nicely.

So conveniently located on the Royal Mile. Out the door and you are right where you want to be! Decorated nicely and recently redone - it all seems new and modern, yet the windows look down on a street that is both ancient and bustling. Sitting in the window seats watching the world below was great - not that we were there to do that too much! So much to see and do on Royal Mile, our visit was too short! One word of advice - if you come in to Waverly Station on the train, you'll appreciate taking a cab. It's walkable but trailing suitcases would make is seem longer than it is. A cab was not much more than 5 pounds and well worth it! Also be sure you can get suitcases up a few floors - three flights, no lift. But it's worth it!

Fantastic location in the heart of the Royal mile. Derek could have not been more accommodating even though our flight was delayed. Would definitely use again when in Edinburgh.

Agréable logement lumineux, bien équipé et très bien situé pour visiter tout le centre historique, seul inconvénient les chambres sont situées coté rue passagère et animée.
