Happy Homestay Penang at Maritime Suites is a 2 bedroom duplex with 3 queen-sized beds that boast the most comfortable stay for 6 persons. Our duplex is located along Persiaran Karpal Singh, Off Jelutong Expressway in Georgetown.

The space

Happy Homestay at Maritime Suites is located along Persiaran Karpal Singh, Off Jelutong Expressway in Georgetown and is easily access via Jalan Sungai Pinang, Jelutong Expressway and Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway. There are buses and taxis in the area. Komtar Bus Terminal is also nearby.

At Happy Homestay Maritime Suites Penang, every effort is made to make our guests feel comfortable. To do so, Happy Homestay at Maritime Suites provides the best in services and amenities. Guests of our luxurious duplex can enjoy the facilities like kitchen, living hall with awesome sea view, complimentary high speed WIFI 100Mbps, washer and dryer; free 1 secure car park, swimming pool, indoor gymnasium, outdoor gymnasium and children’s playground.

Happy Homestay Penang at Maritime Suites is a 2 bedroom duplex with 3 queen-sized beds that boast the most comfortable stay for 6 persons. Throughout the day you can discover the old Penang and the heritage site at George Town, appreciate the Heritage buildings, taste the world-renowned Penang Street Food, and photo-taking session for Penang Street Art. Our guests can take an Uber to wherever you want to go. From our suites to Georgetown city centre is approximately RM10-15, while a cab will cost RM20-25. Our guests can wake up every morning with awesome sea view and the waterfront track is a nice place to go for a morning or evening jog.

1. House facilities:-
• Both bed rooms are equipped with air conditioner, cloth hangers
• Free Secured car park 1 car ((Extra car can park at the visitor car park and it is free)
• Spacious living room with elegant sofa, coffee table and 32” LED TV, air conditioner. Our television has a USB terminal, allowing not only flash drives, but also hard drives to be plugged into the television. Family or friends bring their own drives to plug it into the television so everybody has a good time.
• Dining room with 4 seater dining table
• Kitchen with fridge, electrical induction cooker, water filter dispenser warm and hot
• Simple kitchen utensils
• Iron and iron board
• Hair dryer
• Washing machine and dryer
• All bathrooms are equipped with water heater, body & hair shampoo
• Towel provide to our guests ( 1 towel per guest)

. This is a privately owned house and does not have any reception. Our guests are to contact Holiday House in advance to confirm on arrival time.

-Standard check in time 3pm and check out time 11am. Check in time available from 3pm to 4pm, check out time available from 10am to 11am.

-Early check in or delay in check out can be arranged subject to availability. Late night check-in is strictly not available after 8pm.

Other things to note

Maximum number of guests are eight(8) including adults and children.

a. This is a privately owned apartment and does not have any reception. Our guests are to contact Holiday House one day in advance to confirm on arrival time.
b. Our staff will explain to you the functioning of all the equipment, and give you the keys
c. Standard check in time 3pm and check out time 11am. Check in time available from 3pm to 10pm, check out time available from 10am to 11am..
d. Early check in or delay in check out can be arranged subject to availability. Late night check-in is not available after 10pm.
e. We will collect a security deposit of RM350 upon check in. This is fully refundable during check out if there are no damages, lost or massive dirt.
f. There will be a minimum surcharge of RM50 ringgit if delay in check out without permission, subsequent hours is RM25 per hour.
g. The vacation house can only be used for temporary and tourist household needs. It is furthermore not allowed to sublet the house, or parts of it, to third parties.
h. The said premises or any part thereof shall not be used for any purposes other than as residential accommodation. Immoral or commercial activity is strictly forbidden.
i. No smoking, pets, durians, explosive materials are allowed inside the property. Violation of this rule is subjected to a penalty of RM 100.
j. Our holiday apartment is not liable for any loss or damage caused to a guest’s vehicle.
k. Our holiday apartment does not accept liability for any accident, injury or misadventure. Guests are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements in respect of any injuries suffered by them, or caused by them to any third party.
l. As this holiday house located in quite neighbourhood, we appreciate our guest will behave themselves sensibly and observe the house rules to avoid complaint from neighbourhood.
m. Facilities are to be used with care and keep the area clean.
n. No smoking, pets, durians, explosive materials are allowed.
o. Guests are advised to switch off all lights and air-conditioner when leaving the room. Violation of this rule is subjected to a penalty of RM 100.
p.For long term stay customer, minimum 7 nights & above, you are entitled 15% to 50% discount,
We will provide 25units of electricity and 800L of water per night as free of charge, any excessive amount will be charge as following:
electricity RM0.5 per unit
water RM0.5 for 100L


8) Cleaning Policy
a. On arrival you will find your property clean and tidy, if you would like additional cleaning during your stay, we offer our cleaning services for an additional cost of RM68 each time.

9) In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Happy Homestay at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the house, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

l. Our holiday house does not accept liability for any accident, injury or misadventure. Guests are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements in respect of any injuries suffered by them, or caused by them to any third party.
m. As this is a private condominium and have strict management policy , we appreciate our guest will behave themselves sensibly and observe the house rules to avoid complaint from neighbourhood and the management , also to make the place a better stay for you and other guest as well.
n. Facilities are to be used with care and keep the area clean , wearing proper attire when using the facility is a must for example wearing proper swimming attire while enter the pool
o. No smoking, pets, durians, explosive materials are allowed.
e. Loss of Room Key is subject to a penalty of RM 50.
p. Loss of keys or access card is subject to a penalty of RM100.
q. Guests are advised to switch off all lights and air-conditioner when leaving the room. Violation of this rule is subjected to a penalty of RM 100.

It has been a wonderful and comfortable stay. The host, Chong could not be more friendly and approachable, and we felt so welcomed during our stay. The apartment was big, clean and at a good location where one could get stuff at the 7-11 located below or chill-out at the restaurants/pub/Starbucks just downstairs. Nice sea view of the sea too. Will recommend for anyone to stay there!

Generally it is a nice place to stay. The flat is clean with nice view of Penang bridge. Some good restaurants are just downstairs. Convenience stores are nearby. The flat is in a nice condo. The check-in is smooth. The owner contacted us one day earlier to confirm the arrival time and arrange the meet-up at Starbucks downstairs. The only thing I don't like is the furniture in the flat. They are all of pure quality though they look very decent on photo. There are 2 firm supporters in the sofa that will hit your bottom hard:) I have never seen such design before. The mattress is terrible which feels like made up of straw. Even the cheapest mattress I owned 20 years ago is better than this. The mirror in bath room must have bought from street market with less than RM10. It is smaller than A4 paper size. The owner should really think about upgrading the furniture so that it won't spoil such a nice flat in a good location.

House is big as listed in the picture. Family with young kids may need to consider about the stairs to the upper deck. Our check in were handled by Mr Chong who gave us a brief tour of the house. Kelly who we been liaise with is friendly and Super responsive before and during our stay there. There were small issues encountered which they tried to manage promptly. 1) upper deck air con is not cold and we have to bring a fan is because it is very warm to sleep at night. - host were informed and Mr Chong came to wash the air con. We were told we need to on/off from remote control instead from main switch which we did so we personally do not think that was the case. After wash it was slightly better but still a fan is needed for us - 4 pax to sleep above. I will suggest to always keep bathroom door closed as there is warm air coming from the compressor outside the toilet. 2) we also spotted few times baby cockroaches at the kitchen area, once at upper deck which host explained may be due to earlier guests, anyway they offered to pass us insect spray. Host had been prompt to our issues and Kelly was apologistic. Overall the stay were pleasant but I personally think cleanliness ought to be improved. Thanks Kelly for the nice hospitality!

Overall quite good... if they did make the interior decor a bit better, will be much nicer. Nice coordination by the person who in-charge on the check-in process.

A beautiful sea-view place to spend over the weekend. Can accommodate 6 pax with three queen-sized beds in the unit. Location is good. Starbucks, Subway, 7-11 and many restaurants nearby. There's a hair salon as well which is a good news to girls who love to do hair wash like us. Can go anywhere by Uber and it's cheap. Kelly and Mr Chong are very friendly which made our stay more pleasant.
