Welcome! Our one-bed flat in Tulse Hill/West Norwood was renovated less than a year ago. All the mod cons: underfloor heating, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, queen bed, foldout couch, TV, wifi, Sonos, amazing connections to central London!

The space

This is a beautifully designed, recently renovated luxury one-bedroom flat in Tulse Hill, south London, just a 7-minute walk from a mainline train station that will take you directly to central London in 15-20 minutes.

The flat is composed of one bedroom with a large queen-sized bed and at least one empty wardrobe for you to unpack into.

The bathroom contains an overhead waterfall shower, washbasin, toilet, hairdryer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The living room has a fold-out sofa, a 4-person round dining table, and a 42" flat screen smart TV with basic cable. The kitchen has lots of lovely oak countertop space, a dishwasher, electric oven, gas stove, fridge and freezer.

Beautiful oak flooring throughout, as well as unbelievably comfortable and efficient underfloor heating. If you're someone who gets cold easily, you'll find this place always warm and cozy.

You'll have full access to this one-bedroom flat.

Interaction with guests

Unfortunately we'd be unlikely to meet you ourselves as we put the flat on Airbnb for times we're gone. You'll be well taken care of by our very friendly next door neighbour. He'll be here to greet you and to answer any questions that come up.

Other things to note

The only drawback to this location is the proximity to a train line near the bedroom window. It doesn't bother us, particularly in the colder months when you keep the windows shut. If you're a light sleeper, please keep this in mind. Otherwise the flat is very quiet.

The apartment is very comfortable; it's small but tastefully decorated and clean. The pictures are a fair representation. Travis was responsive and helpful. The location might put off some tourists but it's actually a short uber ride from Brixton (for the Victoria line) or quick walk to Tulse Hill Station for trains into the west end. The one drawback was utility works on the street outside which makes vehicular access to the front of the property, for dropping off luggage, temporarily impossible. I would definitely stay here again, or use it for friends and family.

Travis' place was a lovely interior with a cute kitchen and comfy bed in a spacious room. The local shops are close by with the CoOp having everything you'd need. The place was easy to find and felt secure. The only downsides were - this was zone 3 travel which would have been good to know, and the house was situated between two very busy rail tracks, meaning every 10-15 mins trains would come past making a lot of noise, this continued quite late and started early so wasn't good for light sleepers. Overall the place was great and if you bring ear plugs you'd have an easier time sleeping. A great stay with lovely decor.Travis even allowed us to check out slightly later at no charge.

The host was very helpful and communicated with me throughout my stay when I had questions. The place is really cozy and charming, you will feel at home right away. The location is in walking distance to train and bus stations.
