I decided to book a trip to surprise my mother and eight other family members to New Orleans. Mr. Bill was the only host on AirBnB during the that time who was very helpful with working with me on trying to stay in his home. Mr. Bill was very honest about the condition of the h…

Awesome neighbourhood! Great bars and restaurants, some that were highly recommended to us and it was so nice they were close by. Easy to get to and easy to get to the French Quarter and other areas of the city by Lyft or Uber, and not a bad walk to the streetcar. The house was g…

Area is nice with great local restaurants nearby and house is as described...great New Orleans experience! However, the many long emails with lots of rules and tons on notes all over the house telling you what not to do and discouraging you from using anything in the house was a …

Response from William J:
The listing for my house clearly states that we have a ton of rules and notes all over the house. And the listing's description states that if you think you won't like that, then don't stay at my house, stay somewhere else. In the 17 years that I have owned the house neither I nor any of my guests have gotten a parking ticket. I only ask out of respect for my neighbors for guests to not park in front of my neighbor's homes (some of whom have only one parking place in front of their house). My house is a corner property and there are usually several parking spaces available on either side of the house. If in doubt, call me and I can direct you to a spot. It is a guest's responsibility and not my own to inform themselves about and obey local traffic and parking laws. In most cities, you're not supposed to park within 20 feet of an intersection. Being a nice guy, I was going to message Yosei about going "half-ers" with paying his ticket. But my friends said "why should you do that?---he's blaming you for his mistake". In hindsight, I'm glad I listed to them.

Bill's place was fabulous! A group of 7 of us were in town for a physical therapy convention and had the pleasure of staying in this charming yet spacious house. The property is an older property (as is expected in much of New Orleans) but that is what made it have so much charac…

Huge place, good price, a great location. We had a big group in town and had plenty of space. There's a fantastic BBQ and bakery just down the street and plenty of solid bars close by. We took lots of Ubers, but also decided to walk through Crescent Park to the French quarter a f…

The location of this home is perfect! The Joint (best BBQ I've ever had) is at the end of the street. Bacchanal Wine is a great place to eat and get food in walking distance. We also walked to the Country Club for dinner... twice! You can walk to the end of the street and meet u…

The size of the house and the number of bathrooms is very convenient, even for the maximum number of guests. Received very detailled information from the host. Kitchen has a dishwasher. Pool area is great to chill.
