Located in historic Raetihi, close to Turoa (30km) & Whakapapa (55km) Ski Field, Tongariro Crossing (51km) and the Ohakune Old Coach Road (20km). Amazing trout fishing near by. Makes this the ideal location for winter and summer.

Guest access

Shared lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Relax in our great outdoor Spa whiles gazing at the stars. Please note that we don't have a microwave!

Other things to note

We do have a heat transfer system that takes warm air from the fire room to the bedroom as well as electric blankets on the bed; but please note that it can get a little bit chilly in winter as it is an old house and we are 520m above sea level so be prepared to wear extra layers!

Really enjoyed my stay , the spa was the icing on the cake. Spent 4 days on the mountain coming home to the spa and a warm home was awesome. Highly recommend.

A home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, the house was very clean and warm with 2 wood fireplaces and an electric blanket. A private lounge for guests, and access to the spa pool. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Ange was very welcoming, and their house was beautifully decorated and very unique. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us! :)

What an awesome place to stay ! We had the best time sitting in the spa listening to cool tunes and chatting to Toby. The room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfy. Toby was an awesome host and made our time at the house really enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back .

Great place to stay after a hard day on the snow, fully equipped with spa, home brew and warmth from the fire. Close to Ohakune town without all the noise and very gracious hosts. We really enjoyed it!

The hosts were friendly and the house was like we were expecting but we didn't have a good experience in general since we are in winter and there was no heater in the room and the wifi signal was extremely poor making impossible to connect to the network.

Response from Tobias:
Hi Niko We are disappointed that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Regarding the electric blanket, it is a double electric blanket and has two control settings, one for each side of the bed, it sounds like you only managed to plug one side in? In our listing description we have clearly stated the following, so next time it might be worth reading the listing properly before booking (and loading the fire!): "We do have a heat transfer system that takes warm air from the fire room to the bedroom as well as electric blankets on the bed; but please note that it can get a little bit chilly in winter as it is an old house and we are 520m above sea level so be prepared to wear extra layers!"
