We stayed in the 4BR house on the end and it was truly gorgeous with comfortable, high-end furnishings. You couldn't have a more perfect view of the ocean from the bed in the master bedroom. We sat on the back deck every morning to sip our coffee, and again in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. There's a flock of flamingos that flies by every morning between 7 and 7:30 am (they don't make much noise, so keep an eye out). It is wonderfully tranquil-- no jet skis or motor boats, so all you hear is the sound of the ocean. A couple notes: 1. even when it's not mosquito season, there are still enough mosquitoes to make you itchy, so bring wipes or spray; 2. when the construction of the wall along the house is completed, there will be more privacy with regard to the divers who park on the beach area next to the house. The rocky entry to the water means that sturdy, thick-soled water shoes are a must if you plan to do shore diving or snorkeling (or swimming!). We did both right off the back deck of the house. Splendid.

Great house for a family of 6 in a very quiet part of the island, less than 10' from the airport and supermarket. Hayte is the ultimate host and ensured a worry-free vacation. He arranged baby sitter (Amber) and cook (Marleen) we were delighted with. He provided a cell phone so that any question could be easily and quickly addressed. We only spent 7 days in the house and wish we had had more time to enjoy it and further discover the island. The deck and pool are great and perfect to relax, sun bathe and watch the sunsets (however, there are no railings, so watch the little ones). The three air conditioned bedrooms with baths are spacious with excellent beds. The kitchen/family room is huge with all the necessary brand new appliances (large 2 door fridge, induction stove, dishwasher (and washer and dryer in a separate room)). There is always a breeze from the north blowing through the house keeping it at a very pleasant temperature. The house sits right on the coral rock less than 20ft from the water. However you need shoes to walk to it and entry in the water can be challenging. The reef starts at about 100 yards and 20-30ft deep. We spent 3 days diving with Belmar and East Coast Divers, both excellent operations with beautiful sites to explore. Cai and Turkey City off Lac Bai reef were outstanding. Our favorite restaurant: La Cantina Our favorite take outs: Kite City and Cactus Blue (lionfish) Our favorite scenery at "1000 Steps" Our favorite tasting: Kaduschi Distillery in Rincon Our favorite moments: too many!!

We stayed for 10 nights in March 2017 and had a fabulous vacation. Our three children spent hours in the pool after long days of snorkelling with fish and turtles. We loved sitting and watching the sunsets every night with a glass of wine. Seeing flocks and pink flamingos flying by each morning was a new experience and very special. The beds were comfortable and we slept so soundly every night. The kitchen has everything you need and a cleaner comes in every three nights and changes the linens and provides clean towels. We did not bring beach towels and asked Hayte about borrowing some and he went right out and bought 5 new ones for us to use during our stay. He was very helpful and friendly and the whole island is a dream. I would highly recommend this place and Hayte as a host. There are several grocery stores close by and I would also recommend renting a pickup truck. It's a fabulous adventure to come here. There was lots of bug spray but I would bring some yourself as the bugs do come out at night. We did not have any negative experiences to share with you! We are a family of 5 from Canada.

Hayte's place is just terrific. The scenery is of exceptional beauty, with a 180 degree ocean view and one of the widest beach fronts in Bonaire. We have travelled to the island for many years but this was by far the best place to be! Dolphins passed our house at just 50 meters or so. Diving or snorkeling spots just behind the pool. And within 15 minutes we stood on our surfboards at jibe city. Bonaire is something not to miss out, and we would definitely recommend the place and the friendly and attentive host.

Hayte is the perfect host you expect to find when renting a place far away from home. Besides his kindness and welcoming mood, he was always available to make sure we were having a perfect stay. Minor issues were promptly addressed and we felt very welcomed. Drinks and refreshments were waiting for our arrival. House is awesome, great design and cinematic sunsets. Very well equipped, we could prepare complete meals with a fully equipped kitchen, while appreciating the ocean view and infinite border pool. Pretty close to great south diving spots, you can dive offshore in front of the house! We had a great time and we should definetely go back!

The location is perfect: house right at the sea with private beach. Relaxing sound of the waves and a full view of the sunset was a real treat. Hayte is very nice person, he was very helpful both before the trip and while there. The style of the house is really convincing, Contemporary and cosy. A nice combination of exotic wood and concrete. Our only real complaint was that only one bedroom is really big and beautiful, while one is only for kids as it has bunkbeds, the third is basically in a separate house and this setup was not perfect for two couples.

I live in the Caribbean with my family. The beach house was build under my guidance and my wives design. We enjoy this tranquil island after the 24/24 hour European style with many grim faces surrounding you.
