Great amenities. Beautiful view. Incredibly relaxing. And we only stayed a night. I can't imagine how nice it would be for a week. Kim was very helpful. Picked us right up at the airport. We had time to talk, but also had time to ourselves. It is just as nice as the pictures look. If you ever have a chance...

Amazing host, Kim exudes passion for the Alaskan Adventures she wants to share with you! She is very attentive to your every need, working with you on transportation and recreation, helping you connect with experiences you have only dreamed of, finding connections and giving great advise. We loved the boat ride back and forth from her rustic, water front home on Pennock Island with awesome views! The kitchen has everthing you need...even spices! We especially enjoyed the large deck, BBQ and hot tub. We were so happy after catching a lot of fish to be able to use her chest freezer and enjoyed a fish dinner and wine with her! Great and fun conversation too!! Loved this experience, you will too!!

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous getaway! Kim and Richard were so kind and fun! They gave us the choice of two amazing rooms, both with breathtaking views, one that opened up to a hot tub that we definitely indulged in. What a treat! I can't wait to come back!

Kim and Richard were amazing hosts. One of the best experiences with Airbnb to date. Amazingly the house was even better than in the pictures! View from the roost room is absolutely breathtaking. Hard to believe that people get to live in this paradise. The hosts were so welcoming and down to earth. We were blown away at the wildlife around the island. Spent a lot of time beachcombing, fishing and exploring the hiking trails around the island. The hot tub was the perfect way to end a long day of outdoor activity. The hosts made themselves available and took us to town in their boat whenever we wished and dropped us right on the dock for our departing flight. Richard also operates charter fishing boat and is able to write fishing licenses and has a makeshift tackle shop downstairs with everything you need (and better prices!). Was so sad to leave, we will definitely be back!

Hello there. I am Kim and I have called Alaska home since 1990. I first took a ferry trip through the Inside Passage and the next year came back and kayaked from Juneau to Ketchikan, a journey of three months and the start of a long love affair with the country.
Today I enjoy sharing the town and country I call home. I challenge myself with gardening in a rain forest that sheds 13 feet of rain a year. If that was not enough you need to contend with the wonderful population of deer.
I enjoy yoga, wood working and renovating homes. In the summer I work as a guide to see the bears feeding on the salmon in remote locations.
It is always a joy to meet people from around the world and see the world I love through new eyes.
