Welcome to our cozy, mountain cottage! This home has everything required for your winter ski trip or summer vacation including a fully updated bath and kitchen that offer a modern feel while maintaining the rustic charm of it's early 1900's heritage.
Our recently renovated mountain home in upper Rossland is within walking distance of the town's many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops while still being less than 2km's from RED Mountain. Enjoyed a few brews at Rafters? No worries! Hop on the free Red bus or just point your tips downhill and land at the front door!
Currently the cottage has one queen bed and a single upstairs, a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and two double couch pullouts on the main floor living area which accommodates another two people comfortably (or four if you share). The upstairs bedroom is more of a loft space however so it does not have a door or separate rooms for the queen and single beds.
For large groups there is also lots of floor space that can sleep additional guests on the provided air mattresses (two doubles).
Welcome to Rossland & Enjoy your stay!

Other things to note
We know how much you love Fido so feel free to bring him with you. Keep in mind that Rossland is a very pet friendly town so be prepared to keep Fido inside if he's not great at making friends. Please make sure to clean up the yard after your pets so we can continue to accept pet travellers too!
We have two Malamutes of our own that regularly accompany us on life adventures including many stays at the mountain shack. Despite having two large dogs we strive to keep a clean odour free home and ask fellow pet owners staying at the home to have the same respect.
Our town logo is a bear due to the fact that they regularly roam through town. Please be bear-aware for your own sake, your families and your pet's!!!
If your pets are young or unfamiliar with bears, coyotes and wolves they may get themselves into potentially life threatening situations especially if left unattended outside. Our plum tree and our neighbor's fruit trees regularly attract bears. For this reason our back deck has no access to the backyard, only from the house. This is the safest place to let your pet enjoy the outdoors if you plan on leaving them unattended for any amount of time. This is not meant to scare you, but simply make you aware of the beautiful environment we live in and give you the knowledge to make sound decisions.
Rossland is a great place to have fun and enjoy a vacation but please remember that a lot of love went into making our mountain shack what it is now and respect is greatly appreciated.
