A great rustic place to spend a weekend. We were lucky enough to be "upgraded", which meant being moved to one of the shacks at the front. The beauty of this was that you could leave the top half of the barn doors open and have a glorious view in the morning (and the rest of the day). We came completely under-prepared (no towels, soap, milk etc) which caused us a small problem, but there is a place in town where we bought the soap and milk etc (the towels we didn't get ... reminder for next time we head there). The kitchen and living area was large enough that quite a few people could organise themselves without hassle. There is a braai place in front of this as well as two comfortable wooden seats to sit and contemplate the world in front of you. Pieter and Daniel, the two guys in charge of the daily running and setting up of the place, were very helpful and pleasant guys. Oh, and the hotwater was instant gas, so showers were not a problem. Generally a great weekend getaway from Cape Town and a great place to stay.
