House Rules

This is a no-shoe apartment, so you are kindly asked to remove shoes before entering. The hallway is populated with nice shoes who would love to make friends with your shoes.

Please, please don't let the front door of the apartment-- the one leading directly into the apartment-- close behind you on its own-- it's metal, it's heavy and it's loud. Close it with care and with quiet. Bedroom and bathroom doors, while less heavy, should also be opened and closed with care. Seems odd, I know, but the sound reverberates.

No smoking, no pets. Guests will be provided with a set of towels to use during their stay, but should plan on purchasing their own foodstuffs and toiletries.

Nice neighbourhood, super close to two different subway lines and if you walk a few blocks further you have another two to choose from! was always very easy to go around from this place, also super close to jfk airport. room is just as described and Sadia even let me stay a bit longer then the check out because my flight was going late and there was no one else checking in that day, can only recommend!

The room was great, cozy, good ventilation, enough light and the location of the apartment is very convenient in Brooklyn (express line A passes by). Sadia is sweet and has great taste what you can judge being at her place. Recommended!

Sadia's home is lovely and I loved how close the subway was from there (5min walk and 40min to Midtown Manhattan). The place is great for people who want privacy and, as a solo traveler, I'd definitely recommend staying there.

I had a perfect stay at Sadia's. The room was clean & very comfortable. Living space was fresh, clean, and modern. Bathroom had a great shower too! Very friendly housemate & a pretty chill house in general. Sadia lent great flexibility with check-in, check-out, & all in between. Great neighbourhood too! A thoroughly positive experience

Great air bnb for one person in a dope neighborhood in Brooklyn. It's right off the express A and a few minutes walk to the G so you can get anywhere in NYC in a short amount of time. The neighborhood (BedStuy) is awesome and has so many cool bars and restaurants. The room has a twin bed which I didn't notice in the description but was comfortable and fit my purposes just fine. The room and apartment were clean and serene, Sadia is a wonderful host and is super welcoming (she even let me.drop off my stuff in the morning so I didn't have to lug it around all day). Would definitely stay here again.

Hello, there!

Thanks for checking out my listing. I'm Sadia-- a proud Brooklyn resident who moved to beautiful Bedford-Stuyvesant five years ago and loves it more with every passing day.

I like to treat my home as an oasis and a healing hub-- a place to recharge after you've given the world out there all you've got. I manage a yoga studio, teach yoga, and am working on launching a line of home accessories that is produced by artisans in Liberia, West Africa. When I'm not working or teaching, I'm exploring my neighborhood, gallery hopping, cooking, entertaining, and otherwise just getting my life on.

I do hope you'll come share my home with me, and that you enjoy your stay in Brooklyn. Cheers!
