A great location for old plovdiv and seeing some of the historic buildings, or walkng down hill into town - just a short walk. Breakfast with fresh juice and lively honey was an unexpected bonus. A treat to sleep in a restored buiding of old plovdiv

Location is prime within old town of Plovdiv, the property is unique and the room itself is museum grade. Unfortunately so are all the doors in the building which squeak mercilessly. The mattresses are not as modern as I expected and my husbands back hurt for days after. One of the noisiest places we have ever stayed. We woke up more times than I can count during the night and nearly packed up and left at 3 am.Every door squeaks, the private room is within a bustling hostel and located right next to a shared bathroom that flushes countless times during the night. We understand its an old building and love the building itself and what the host and his wife are trying to preserve, but this one sleepless night set us back for days.

I stayed in a private room in the hostel, and it was exactly as described. Clean, quiet, with very friendly staff. It was great that they were open 24 hours, as I didn't have to cut short the wedding celebration I was at. Their breakfast is so good, with the best orange juice I think I've ever had! Overall, a great stay.

Atmospheric hostel in the heart of the old town. Hristo is rightly proud of such a great place.

Our welcome by one of Hristo's staff was warm and we were very happy to meet Hristo himself and chat. The room was just as in the photo and we loved the garden and sitting room too while waiting till it was time to go to the airport. We will definitely recommend 'Old Plovdiv' Hostel to any friends coming to Plovdiv

We had a wonderful time in Old Plovdiv. Hristo and his great team spent time with us, made our stay perfect. The house is a beautiful exemple of the traditional architecture of the old city. The garden is the cherry on the cake. Thank you for everything.
