Located in the trendiest neighborhood, at CASA RM26 you will enjoy a peaceful private space with the possibility of meeting travellers from all around the world; by booking one room, you can have access to the whole amenities of a house, including hi speed WI-FI in all areas. La Casa will give you the best travelling experience while staying in an authentic house built around 1900 -preserving its original facade and floors- with a completely renewed vibe. We look forward to hosting you!

The space

Set on one of the first buildings of la Roma Norte, which was respectfully and carefully renovated by its host: Alejandro Hernandez, architect with a broad taste for decoration, aesthetics, history, art and music. Using the original distribution, La Casa invites you to be part of a beautiful, good vibe and peaceful space within one of the liveliest neighborhoods of Mexico City.

Mixing the privacy of a hotel, and giving you the possibilities of a home, at CASA RM26 you will stay at a room with its own key for security, personal refrigerator, internet, fan, mirror and towels, while giving you access to several common areas for your use such as the kitchens, bathrooms, laundry patio and living/dining room.

Either you’re traveling alone, with friends, or your significant other; CASA RM26 offers different spaces to fulfill your needs for a pleasure, academic, or business purpose journey.

Alejandro's apartment is closely located to all the major sights. All within walking distance, which is awesome if you enjoy exploring by foot. I stayed for 2 months and everything was just perfect. Very decent WiFi for México, lots of silence, nice temperature, great kitchen with everything you will need and the house is near all the key streets. Alex is very kind and welcoming. I will come back.

Alejandro is a great host, very quick to communicate and accommodate. He's done a great job updating the house into a comfortable guesthouse. The design of the common area was is well-executed. Lots of natural light and spiral staircase are nice touches. Got a little hot, but he provided a fan. We were there 3 nights and would stay again.

We stayed at Alejandro's place for 11 days and we loved it! Alejandro is a great host. He was very helpful during our whole stay. He was also very thoughtful and flexible when it came to our (quite late and quite early) check-in and check-out schedules. Location couldn't be better. The house is located right at the heart of "La Roma", one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Mexico City. You can find great coffee shops, bars and restaurants all over the place. It is also within walking distance to other cool neighbourhoods, such as Condesa or La Juárez, and just a short ride away from Downtown. It's also well connected as there are Subway, Metrobus and Ecobici (public bikes) stations nearby. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. It allows a lot of light in the common areas. The kitchen is well equipped, in case you feel like cooking! We stayed in room #10. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It has a double bed, a mini-fridge, a desk, and enough storage room for clothes. It has a big window, allowing for ventilation and natural light (not all rooms have windows). We had to share the bathroom but we didn't mind as it was always clean. There is a funny smell coming out from the bathroom's strainer (upstairs) and it might get stinky from time to time, but that has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the place. It's a particular problem of the drainage system that affects some buildings in the neighbourhood. Nothing to worry about. :) We also had the chance to meet the lovely cleaning lady, who helps Alejandro with the house. She is wonderful and extremely helpful. We absolutely recommend Alejandro's place for your visit to Mexico City.
