+ A charming bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment
+ Steps away from all Fishtown bars, restaurants, music venues, shops and more!!
+ 5 min walk to train station
+ Street parking

The space

This sunny apartment is in the perfect Fishtown location! Steps away from bar, restaurants, clubs, music venues, and shops. The train is a 5 minute walk away.

The apartment is on the second floor and has tons of windows!

The room has a queen sized bed, with plush pillows, and crisp sheets.

The shared space in the apartment includes the kitchen, washer/dryer, and great room (living and dining room combo). Sleeping space for guests 3 & 4 is in the living room on the pull out couch.

The apartment is in an older building, so it is not 100% perfect, brand new or fancy. It's a cute apartment in the best location!

Guest access

Guests will have access to the whole apartment, excluding the other bedroom. Please, make yourself at home!

Interaction with guests

I am always buzzing around, so you might not see me much.

I rent out the other room in the apartment in addition to this one. You might see other guests in the common area. Say hi :)

Other things to note

This is a pet friendly listing, however there is an additional $15 fee per pet. Even the most well behaved pet (and owner) can leave a little extra to clean up upon departure.

This was a nice, simple, clean apartment, very close to the Girard train station, near lots of restaraunts and bars and a short uber ride away from tons of things! Simple accommodations but a very good location. If you need a good place to crash after a night on the town, don't hesitate!

Good space for a day or 2. Very bare bones place but in a good area.

I was a bit disappointed by the accommodations, noise, and price. The space is a bit unfinished, with holes in the drywall and the linoleum floors in need of some repair. Jen seems pleasant enough, although I only exchanged text messages with her, so never met her. The size of the living room, bathroom, and kitchen were more than large enough, but I found the bedroom rather small and uncomfortable, with the closet stuffed to capacity as if it was a storage facility, rather than a space for the guest's belongings. Nice location but I've seen better locations for less money, so I really couldn't recommend this spot.

Response from Jen:
This review came to a surprise to me as Jamison did not express disappointment to me during his stay. He stayed 2 nights over a holiday weekend and paid less than $50 per night. The closet has some supplies such extra towels and sheets, but there is plenty of hangers for guests to use for their belongings. The apartment is clean but the building is older. I warn guests about noise that can occur in the building and construction in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I have no control over that. I would recommend that light sleepers bring ear plugs or download a white noise app.

I am a lover of travel. I enjoy reading (real books and audio books), yoga, and almost any outdoor activity. AirBnb is fantastic! It brings me great happiness to host others while they visit my favorite city, Philadelphia. I own a property management company called, Slate & H…
